This place was quite a trek from the train station (basically all uphill) and was especially hard rolling up a 45lb bag in 95degree weather. Despite the trek, I would definitely recommend a stay here. The room was rather big and we had our own mini-seating area outside the room with a great view. The breakfast options were great, and...

Rick Steves seemed to downplay this B and B, but we were booking late and found the response to our email from Sara so pleasant that we booked. We had requested a room with a view, but none was available. We arrived late, and Sara met us and told us that one couple had not checked in and that if...

A well thought out B&B at the top of the hill in Manarola, away from the busy centre during the daytime. Only spent 2 nights here, but Da Baranin is a calming sanctuary away from the bustling port area. Fantastic breakfasts, comfy beds and secluded, shady breakfast spot of the terrace, with views looking up to the towering vineyards lining...

I really enjoyed my stay here. The A/C works really well, the B&B is in a quiet location (though that hill is quite a lot to walk up!), and the room is really modern and nice. We had some issues with the room (the safe wouldn't work and the shower drain was plugged) but both issues were resolved quickly. Breakfast...

We look forward to coming back not just to Cinque Terre, but to this very B&B! The sisters who own the home are very accommodating and so enjoyable to visti with. The room itself was very spacious and had more 'extras' then we ever dreamed of. The room was so cozy as well. We really feel the accommodation exemplified the...

We loved it here. As Manarola (as well as all of the other towns in the Cinque Terre) is very hilly, obviously there are a couple of hills and some steps to reach this hotel. It was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. There is a lovely terrace with...

Last part of our Italian holiday, so three nights here, our Agency "Mugello-tuscany" booked this for us and what a suprise, after an initial mix up with directions and what seemed like a million steps to negotiate, our room was a delight very comfortable with sun terrace and small kitchen, brilliant ! The steps you have to cope with as...

Cinque Terre has been discovered, but staying in a Da Baranin apartment lets one feel like a local and is away from the craziness of the tourist area just a few blocks below. Our daughter decided that Da baranin and Cinque Terre is her "spiritual home" based on its beauty and hospitality. Highy recommended as a base for exploring Cinque...
