Ok - as mentioned, it is up a crazy steep hill! But this was one of my favorite places that we stayed in Italy! The town itself is adorable and we felt like we were really living among the locals here! Fresh breakfast pastries, meats and cheeses along with coffee or cappuccino were ready for us every morning! We got... More

We feel as though we happened across a gem of accommodations in Manarola (which also happens to be the best of the five cities, from what we heard once traveling around there). The place was clean and had everything we could have needed. The included breakfast ended up being one of the highlights of our stay. Coffee was overflowing and... More

Our stay couldn't have been better. We were warmly greeted even though we arrived well after the office closed. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Because we had a kitchen, we were able to choose to prepare a couple of our own meals rather than always eating out. Can not say enough good about the staff.

We 3 (husband, wife, adult son) were most pleased with our stay at Da Baranin. Sara is most helpful and a valuable source of information and fluent in English. Our unit was clean, quiet, and had very small balcony with a view of the town, terraced hillside, and sea. Breakfast is hands down the best we had in italy: fresh... More

We visited during an unusually severe heat wave in August 2015. Our room was for 4 people with 2 staying in loft. The stairway to loft was tiny circular stairway designed for Olympic gymnasts carrying a tiny suitcase. The A-C in main sleeping area was barely adequate, would barely cool to tolerable temp in 2 hrs. Like I said, this... More

Manarola is in my opinion the best place to stay in cinque Terre and the b&b baranin a very good option. The apartments are modern and well equipped. The breakfast are good and with variety. We just stayed one night but I wish we could have stayed longuer.

When we arrived at Da Baranin B&B we were greeted by Sara at the front desk. She and her sister, Silvia are delightful hostesses! Our family, 6 adults, had just hiked up through town from the train stations pulling our large rolling suitcases. It was worth it!! (Backpacks are the preferred mode of luggage in Cinque Terre as everything requires... More

Such a beautiful place. Worth the extra effort to get there. Probably not handicapped accessible because of all the stairs. Best views and awesome food in this town. This hotel property is cute and affordable. There is a great vineyard /coast/ terraced garden walk nearby.

Sara took care of us during our stay. When we booked in we could smell lovely cooking and it turned out to be a lemon cake (Fresh lemons from 100meters away) and an apple cake (also fresh produce) that Sara was baking. They were part of the next day's breakfast and tasted amazing. The bed was really comfortable and the... More

This B&B is at the top of a long climb, as everything in the Cinque Terre. But it is worth it. Donatella is a wonderful hostess who loves to cook; be prepared for yummy breakfasts on the terrace. She helped make reservations for dinner, was good at directions, and her rooms are clean and well organized. Manarola is a good... More
