This hostel is a great, simple base. It's right at the top of the hill of Manarola (which is quite steep) so heavy luggage isn't ideal! We stayed in a 6-bed dorm which was adequate and clean: bunk beds, a big locker each (bring a padlock) and a blanket for each bed if it gets chilly in the winter. There... More

Manarola is a closed village, so we had to park further up the hill (20 EUR overnight) - but the hostel is only 5 minutes walk away. You do have to walk up a few steep steps to get to the front door. We ere lucky that there were people in reception, as it was closed at the time of... More

When I arrived at first I couldn't get in, 'cause there was no one there, then another guest let me in... The staff is really very nice, Wifi's slow and only available at the reception area, in every room (6 persons) there's only one socket - where can you charge your phone/camera.... and the rooms... just look at the photos...... I spent almost a week on holidays in Manarola back in August. Manarola's a great base to explore the Cinque Terre region, being connected to all four towns by train and boat. The hostel is a good 15-minute hike uphill (hauling luggage) from the train station, or more like 20 from the harbour. Once you get there, though, it's great.... More

We stayed in this hostel for 4 nights during peak season in July. The location was perfect being in Manarola which was the first town along from the main land. This made it easier to explore the towns in order. Manarola is the smallest town and in my opinion had the coolest little swimming area of the towns. The hostel... More

Spent two nights here during summer, the bathrooms as everyone says are fairly dire but what was really bad was that the power cut out on both nights meaning that the lights, power points (couldn't charge any appliances), fans in the dorms (really necessary during summer), and showers (which have to be turned on with a power button) didn't work... The staff are very friendly and helpful upon check in. It is easy to find and get to as Manarola is quite small, however some trains don't stop in this town which can make it a bit challenging if you plan on coming back late. The hostel itself is quite big, lots of young people from all over the world.... More

I stayed at this hostel for 5 nights and had a wonderful time! Sure the showers are small, the wifi really only works on the ground floor - but who cares? You'll be out trekking for most parts of the day or swimming in the Ligurian Sea. I met some amazing solo travelers here, like minded and up for adventure.... More

Barrack like rooms and no air conditioning made for a very uncomfortable experience. The shower shuts off after 4 minutes and you must get out to restart it. Up a large number of steps at the top of a very tall hill/mountain. If you are looking to travel on the cheap then it will suit your basic needs, but their... More

I am not sure if this worth to save money and stay in this place. For the money they ask for twin room you will not have 1)any breakfast!! 2)any towels 3)any comfort. But you will have some unpleasant smell in bathroom.
