We stayed 4 nights in a mixed dorm which I did not like. Not really sure why they can't have male and female dorms. The bathrooms were supposed to be male and female but there were always men in the female bathroom. The female bathroom smelt like stale urine. Cleaning not good. It was quite cool in April esp at...

This hostel was very busy. The rooms were very big, however it had communal bathrooms which was a bit of a downfall. They provided a variety of foods for breakfast. The staff barely spoke English, but they were willing to help the best of their abilities. The wifi only worked downstairs in the main room, not in the bedrooms. Not...

The location of the hostel is on the peak of Manarola, which isn't recommended for anyone carrying suitcases uphill, then you'd be surprised with 20 more steps to get to the hostel itself. Reception staff aren't there after 8pm so that's a problem if you want to checkin afterwards. Internet was lousy and mostly in the reception area. (Which is...

I liked Hostel Cinque Terre, the bathrooms and rooms were clean enough. But I would not stay there again bc the staff does not make you feel very "welcome". They close the community / dining area and the outside patio after 10 AM , so there is no where to sit and drink a coffee. They wouldn't even let me...

This is probably the worst hostel that there is. The first minute itself in this hostel was unpleasant. When we had booked for 3 nights but then our bus timings changed and we requested them politely if its possible to cancel the bookings and give us the refund (which was 50 euros- 2 beds, one night, overtly expensive seeing what...

Lots of ants, make your own bed, rent a towel, and pay for a weak breakfast that seems to be an inconvenience to the hostel staff. if i was to do it again, I would pay twice as much to stay elsewhere, and I am very frugal. I would still stay here as opposed to a larger city like La...

After a trek up a huge hill we were met with the most average hostel ever. Rooms are basic, one PowerPoint per rooms which doesn't make sense if your in a mixed dorm with people from all over the place. Staff don't exist, hostel is locked from 12-4 which is absolutely ridiculous for anyone who needs to get it at...

The hostel took money before our arrival, even though when booking states it won't until check-in. There was someone else's dirty underwear and socks left in the room (indicating to me it wasn't cleaned prior to our arrival). The hostel provided very minimal info/pamphlets on things to do. There is no way to cook your own food, abailiable fridge is...

This hostel has a perfect setting for an amazing stay on the Cinque Terre - on a budget. We loved the place Francesca and her staff were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They helped us in so many ways with information as well as arranging a transfer for the 50 bags uphill to the bus parking on the day of...

This hostel is a great, simple base. It's right at the top of the hill of Manarola (which is quite steep) so heavy luggage isn't ideal! We stayed in a 6-bed dorm which was adequate and clean: bunk beds, a big locker each (bring a padlock) and a blanket for each bed if it gets chilly in the winter. There...
