So pleased we paid a little more than the other options in the area to stay here. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. A warm welcome (including Prosecco while checking in, and a glass of drinkable red waiting in the room for us), brilliant breakfast (including gluten free croissants, cereal, toast and pancakes), spacious room and a lovely view. If we return to Cinque Terre, we would certainly stay here again. Thank you to all the staff.
We were only in Cinque Terre for a night and we are hooked - it is amazing. So much so that we plan to spend five to seven nights on our next visit but only if we can stay at La Torretta. What an incredible experience. The staff is incredible; the hospitality matches any five star resort; and the room was beautifully romantic and inviting.
Checked in to our hotel, the host was very pleasant and informative. Gave us details for the ferry, a map of the area while enjoying a welcome prosecco and some fruit all with a great view of the town. When done we were taken to our room and given a tour providing all the necessary details. Our room (DUPLEX SUITE SEA VIEW (Double Room)) was multilevel with the bedroom and sitting room on the top, then the bathroom in the basement. The steps are steep so you had to be very careful with going up and down. If you are ok with that (which we were) then the room was great! Especially for Europe it is very large and the bathroom has double sinks, a huge soaking tub, and big shower with a rainhat and wand. We had an amazing private patio with an wonderful sea view. It had a small bistro table, chairs, and also two lounge chairs. Breakfast was very good with breads, fruit, meats, cereals, juices, fresh coffee or cappuccino, and eggs made to order. It was the perfect way to start each day. Service was very pleasant. The hotel also had late afternoon snacks and drinks. Cheese, crackers, meats, veggies, champagne, wine, and various liquors to make lots of cocktails (we made Aperol Spritzes). Breakfast and afternoon snacks were served on a wonderful patio with a great view of Manerola and the sea.…
Just finished spending three nights here with my daughter and it could not have been better. The staff pays attention to every detail.....very clean, a fabulous breakfast each morning, and a nice reception hour every evening. The location is serene, quite, and lovely. We will be back!!!
