The hotel is near the center but not in the center. They have a courtyard to park your car. The rooms are clean and the personnel is very kind. The kindly give information about the city and where you can eat good food. Breakfast is good with fresh bread and sweets and good cappuccino. One point of attention: when somebody...

This is an often overlooked hotel. It is ideally located 3 minutes from the train station, down an alley off the main street so it is very quiet. It has an excellent breakfast included, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only thing is, like many hotels in Italy the air conditioning isn't turned on until May, so April...

In most cities on the planet, you don't expect to find a decent, clean and respectable hotel right next to the train station. But Udine doesn't appear to have any seedy areas at all, so the location of this hotel--literally two or three minutes from the station--shouldn't put you off. It's set back from the street so it's extremely quiet...

I have been using this hotel for almost ten years. It is conveniently located up a driveway near the station but far enough away not to suffer the noise of it. As with all towns, the station area is a draw for dodgy types and alas Udine is no exception: disposed youth and immigrants loiter around but I have never...

Friendly and surprisingly quiet hotel bearing in mind its location. This modern hotel had a pleasant breakfast area in the basement. But unless you want a snack or a big Mac it is a long walk to any pleasant evening eating options.

I was a little leery of booking a hotel across from the train station, but Hotel Principe proved to be a good choice. While it's a walk to the main Udine sights, it's convenient to both train and bus (both local and regional) and despite being on a busy street, the courtyard insulates from most street noise. The reasonably-priced room...

Excellent staff. Very helpful and interesting in us getting the best out of our stay in the area. Smallish room but comfortable. Fair breakfast but again nice staff. Very near the train station and the area looks a bit rough. Lots of young people hanging around as it’s also near a McDonalds but nobody bothered us. Very handy for day...
