Stayed for a week. There is plenty of parking, the rooms are closed comfortable. I also enjoyed their breakfast and the restaurant for dinner. The hotel is near the City Center which convenient. It was a very enjoyable stay. Type is that get a room on the parking lot side of you are a light sleeper.

Dated building yet well kept on the inside. Well cleaned rooms and common areas which is always what I'm particular about. Reception desk open 24/7 which is a must especially when checking in in the middle of the night - as we did. Udine is a great spot for sleepovers on your journey to/from Italy. Breakfast buffet available on the...

This nice little hotel in Udine, itself a small city under 100,000 residents went beyond my expectations. It's a 3-star but felt more like a 4-star to me. Maybe because I wasn't expecting much but it had a cozy little room. Even complimentary slippers were there. Overlooks the river and it's got a 2-sided entrance. One side for cars, the...

On arrival at this hotel you may get a sinking feeling as you pull onto a petrol station forecourt to park, which is free. However once inside you will relax and should be reassured by a warm welcome at reception. The room was adequate, comfortable, clean and plenty big enough. Wifi is also free in your room. Breakfast was good, plenty...

Good price and excellent quality and space of the double room. Location not too far from the centre of the city. Good also the service at the reception. The quality of the service at breakfast instead could be improved. I had to wait 10 minutes for a table and ask twice for a simple expresso in a breakfast room too...

Udine is a good place to break any car journey into or out of central Europe. This hotel is not attractive (especially with the enormous filling station out front) but the parking and WIFI are free. The rooms are beginning to need some refurbishment but have all that a weary traveller needs including minibar and bidet!! The bar doesn't open...

Very friendly reception staff who spoke perfect English. The room was clean, comfortable and although a tad dated very very holmly. Wifi worked very very well (Irritating...

After long driving and crossing the Alps through the best route via Grossclockner high alpenstrasse, we needed overnight Pitstop close to Venice. With some help back from home with static internet connection, the Hotel Friuli was quicly seleceted to the short list. It was selected as the firm booking with free parking, close to the historic center, free wifi and...

The front desk staff at the Hotel Friuli were the absolute best! I spoke no Italian and the staff was both patient and very helpful. The hotel was very dated, but kept very clean. It has a decent location and is in walking distance to the City Center, restaurants, and shopping. Our first room was on the second level and...

“Ask for one at the front, even though this is on the main road. You can glimpse the old town from your window. The rooms at the back have a dreary outlook and are noisy because of the recycling centre and car park.”
