I stayed at this hotel for four nights with my husband. The hotel is inside an old building, our room overlooks the inner courtyard, so very quiet. The lights are very soft, the furnishings attention to detail, the bathroom a little narrow, especially the space between the shower and the bidet, but complete with the kit for your hygiene, also there is a real hairdryer and not those hanging on the wall. Without being asked, the change of towels was daily. We chose to take advantage of breakfast at an additional cost of 10 euros per person for the Italian one including a croissant, a slice of cake, a glass of yogurt, a little fruit and drink a bottle of water and a choice of coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato... With the addition of 5 euros there is also the salty part. For those who prefer not to do it at the hotel, there are several bakeries nearby. The location is great, because in ten minutes walk you reach Piazza Unità d'Italia. As for parking there is a garage about 200 meters from the hotel or you can park, at a cost of 14.00 euros per day, next to the train station, ten minutes walk from the hotel.
Friendly staff. Very good cleaning.

We spent two nights in this charming and very pleasant property...
The room is very well furnished, as is the bathroom (the only downside is the lack of space between the bathroom fixtures and the shower)...
Very kind staff and always available for every customer need...
I wanted to underline the extreme cleanliness of both the rooms and the common areas...
Excellent proximity to the center...
While waiting for the next opening of the new entrance I say "thank you"😀😀😀

Really a nice place. We had a suite in a separate building from check in. If you arrive by car drive to in front of check in. You will need to take your luggage up about 5 stairs to the elevator which will take you to reception/the breakfast area. You will leave your luggage and probably drive right on down that one way street to the water, make a left and then an immediate right into a large muni parking lot at 15e/day. Then walk back to the hotel which is about a half mile away. If you have a suite then bags back out to the street walk about 50 yards then about 5 more steps till you get to that buildings elevator. Be advised that you either have heat or ac based on what the hotel has selected for the entire building. If you want to cool your room while they are on heat you open a window and thus you have street noise. Beware the hot water is unbelievably hot from the get go. Two tv and a small internal courtyard came with our suite

I booked a queen bed and on check in I was shown to a tiny room with only a single bed! It was late at night and I was told this was the only room left (so pretty much take it or leave it) the receptionist was unapologetic and said as I was travelling alone there was no problem! Except I had booked and prepaid for a queen bed! The room itself was all appearances and no substance. Through the night the hotel was noisy with guests returning until the early hours. The walls were obviously very thin. The bathroom was again all appearances the sink was scratched the toilet was running all the time and the seat was scratched. The shower was dark and the door was sticking and the toilet roll was balancing on top or the towel rail. This hotel is definitely not boutique quality.
It nay look the part on the surface but on closer inspection it was found wanting!

Response from Forvm boutique Hotel, Proprietario at Forvm Boutique Hotel
Responded Aug 24, 2020
Dear Mr. Simon, We are very sorry that Your experience at the hotel didn't match Your expectations. Our goal is to always make sure that our Guests feel completely at home during their stay. The situation with the queen bed started when we received Your booking, which didn't show any particular request on the website, other than the "single room" booking itself. So the next natural step was to assign a standard single-bed room. When You showed us Your booking sheet for a queen bed, we understood there has been a problem in the system, but unfortunately all the other rooms were already booked, so we had only that room left (mind that we are a small boutique Hotel, so the number of rooms available is limited). With that being said, we never said that we put You in a single room because You were travelling alone, we would never allow ourselves to say such things. Also, we never mentioned not giving You a refund if You had chosen not to stay in our Hotel. Actually, as soon as You showed Your queen bed booking sheet, we immediately tried to contact the manager to see what we could do to resolve the problem. In that moment You decided on Your own that You would take the room, saying you didn't want anyone to even try to contact You for the next 10 hours, and threatening to write a bad review the next day. We don't see this as the proper way of dealing with certain situations, being that it only causes damage to our image. We always accept constructive criticism, when its intention is to really help avoid certain errors in future. But this seems like an intentional way to damage the Hotel's reputation. Again we feel truly sorry for the whole situation, and You have the right to express Your disappointment. But there are ways and means. We really hope that in future You can decide to give us another chance to prove our point, which means giving You the best experience possible during Your stay. In the meantime, we wish You all the best. Sincerely, Forvm boutique Hotel

Elegant and comfortable, great location.
Within 5 minutes, you can walk to the Piazza, the pier, and so many great restaurants.
Staff was quite helpful with dining suggestions, directions and getting my handbag chain strap unstuck between the desk and wall!

Very nice and welcoming hotel
Receptionist friendly and very helpful
Room truly furnished with very particular taste
Spacious bathroom with window
Very close to the centre, we left the car at the MOLO4 car park at €17 per day (but if desired you can also find it in the adjacent streets)
If you want, you can make a colony consisting of 4 or 6 menus. We didn't do it
Really top
I'll be back

So glad I stayed here. It’s amazing inside and the staff (well most of them) are lovely too!
Arrived during a national train strike so was stressed and just grateful to have arrived.
My check in was great, the guy was friendly and informative. Escorted me to my room which was modern and he showed me how everything worked. Only thing I was disappointed in is there are no safes in the room - that can be so easily rectified.
Didn’t have breakfast but I did bring a friend back for a drink in the evening only to be met by a miserable member of staff who so did not want to serve us drinks and when we insisted he made the cocktail with one small piece of ice! When I asked for more he gave me another small piece! Ridiculous! We weren’t the only ones to receive his misery! A group of 4/5 came in after us and were told they could take the drinks to their room! They were just as surprised as us with his rudeness.
Anyway I haven’t detracted any points from this review because I spoke with the owner in the morning and she was lovely and apologised profusely. None of it was her doing but she was mortified and assured me she would deal with it which I trust she did.
Would definitely return if in Trieste again 👍

I have never been to Trieste and this hotel seemed perfect to me: not far from the station and the centre. At the reception, the boy who was present was very kind, polite and prepared in showing us attractions and restaurants, bars, .... from 10!
Unfortunately, the room assigned to us, 104, has problems that I thought it unnecessary to point out: broken external metal Venetian blind slats, tall and very uncomfortable stone sink, single tap for cold and hot water, which works depending on the turn of the knob, but which cannot be adjusted as desired, lack of a shower cabin panel replaced with a curtain, absence of power sockets near the bed. The impression is of being in a three-star hotel with shortcomings that bring it to two.
This hotel suffers from the contradictions of a soundproofed room compared to the others and a door that doesn't even isolate a cough.
I'm sorry because Trieste is one of the most beautiful cities I've visited.
I will return but not here. Sorry!

Super Pension with very chic and neat decoration. Staff with great care and an Extra Breakfast. The top, nothing to complain about.
If you arrive by car, allow some time to bring it to the parking recommended by the Inn where arrived on Sunday and have some luck 🍀
Indeed, on Sundays parking in blue marking is free in the streets adjacent to the Inn

Forvm Boutique Hotel is literally a hidden pearl since the entrance may be hard to notice. The hotel is nicely decorated and stylish. Rooms are also stylish and quiet. The service was very good at the reception. The breakfast is a la carte and very nicely presented & tasty. very good price value and strongly recommended.
