This is a charming little guest house with a welcoming staff full of surprises. Perfect location for exploring Trieste. The staff is attentive and friendly the rooms clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast and chat with the lovely Serbian barista/manager. Have a look on the shelves in the restaurant to see part of the owner's superb 20th-century art glass collection.

This is a very friendly and comfortable hotel in a great location on the cusp of the older Trieste and the later Hapsburg developments. The hotel room felt more like a studio apartment and made it a relaxing place to stay, adding to the enjoyment of Trieste.

The owner, his son and all the staff at this small family hotel went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our beautifully furnished bedroom was very comfortable, a delicious breakfast each morning was served with great courtesy and the son was most helpful in recommending restaurants and places to visit in Trieste. Should we ever return...

This small family hotel is neatly placed a stones throw from the main Piazza della Unita d’Italia and is on 4 floors with 10 rooms in total. Some rooms have a small kitchen and some overlook a small internal courtyard and are therefore very quiet. Breakfast is simple but fine and the juices and croissants are excellent, with a huge...

There are no words to describe the warm sensation of care that welcomes you at l'Albero Nascosto. It's a lovely gem placed in the very hearth of Trieste. Everything inside is perfect, not pretentious, simply beautiful. The staff takes care of everything you need (they changed a friend's cover of the ID card on their own motion, just because it...
