We stayed there for a couple of nights during Easter time. One important advantage is that we booked one month ago but we payed the day of our arrival. The staff is very kind and nice. The owner is a bit rough but also nice. Everything was nice, tidy and clean our family room was in order and we had even the chance to have a chamber maid who helped us to keep it tidy and clean. The landscape was beautiful. The wifi not so strong but worked in the common room. To be honest the only thing to improve is the kitchen: breakfast should be more varied, some napkins would be well accepted and the dinner should be richer(we one had a dinner there but we weren't really satisfied). Anyway the position is worth trying it because it is very close to Miramare castle far from the hectic city of Trieste and landscape is beautiful from their terraces. Go and try it!

The hostel is nice, clean and with a wonderful view on the sea. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly, however the weak point of this hostel is the owner/manager and the prices. Since all double rooms were sold out, we were offered an "adapted" room (originally for four but prepared for two) but we were not told that we would pay also for the two unexisting roommates. A room for two for 80/90 euros is too much in a hostel, these are hotel prices. This accodamodation is convenient for a group of friends or a family, but for a couple is too much. The owner is very grumpy and thinks to manage the Hilton. For breakfast we got poor bread, coffee from an automatic machine and one industrial croissant per person. One does not feel fairly treated here.

We had a very nice room that was very clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. We had no problem with communication. We good information from the staff. The promenade was very nice right along the ocean. We took many nice walks, very relaxing. Thank you from Anthony & Anita, from Colorado USA

They should wash also the blankets once in a while: they actually only wash the sheets and pass the blankets from guest to guest. My blanket had an ugly spot on it... I can only imagine what it was. Of the staff, only one guy was really nice and kind; the other two I met were not at all. In particular, one of them only got kinder to me after I made her notice the spot on my blanket; and another totally didn't care when, one night, the heaters in the room weren't working, and it was winter! -3/-4 degrees! He said "I don't know what's going on, just put on another blanket". Except the morning after, in front of me, he asked another guest if he wanted to change room cause of the problem with the heaters... a kindness me and the other guy that was sleeping in the same room, couldnt enjoy. Also, they say they can cook, but when I asked to eat, the receptionist looked like he really didn't want to prepare dinner for me: maybe they should hire people that enjoy that job!

Dear guest, Our sheets and blankets are washed and sanitized at 90° degrees in an Industrial Laundry as all Hotels of this world normally do. Cleaning in our Hostel has the priority just like our guests service, to make sure that they are happy and satisfied of our Hostel and our work carried out with professionalism!

Worst breakfast i´ve seen in my life (including Africa). Bread (no toaster) with machine coffee. Chemical juices. Our room had a marvellous view at head level with a horrible ceiling. The location is fantastic.
