Opened in May 2006, duoMo hotel is the inaugural hotel project from the internationally renowned architect and designer, Ron Arad. This much anticipated launch sees the use of alternative Materials, bright colours and unusual shapes to produce a hotel that reverses design expectations to create an overall experience that is both futuristic and exciting. This is a cute hotel with everything you need! Friendly staff and the breakfast and coffee the morning was so good. The room was clean and comfortable and I slept well. Good value for the price per night!

Rooms are supposedly high fashion by some designer. That translates into 3/4 of the room being the bathroom with a bunch of fancy features that do not work (including the lights). They had no internet for 3 days at least, which they failed to tell us when we were checking in.

Highly recommend the Duomo as the perfect location for discovering Rimini and the local region. Cafes, restaurants, gelateria and supermercato all within a 5 min stroll. I stayed and used it for my base while on a cycling holiday, easy to get to from Bologna airport via the Airport Shuttle bus which drops you off at the Rimini train station, then a 10 min stroll even with my bike box to the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and looked after amazingly by welcoming friendly staff. The rooms clean and cleaned daily, all the amenities needed for any stay. The Hotel restaurant in the evening had a great choice of locals dishes.

The hotel is located in a pedestrian area in the very downtown. So it is fantastic to explore Rimini by walking. If one drives is really complicated. We did not know that( maybe a mistake of “ booking”?) and moreover it was during the holiday season, so arriving to the hotel was a nightmare. It would have been nice to get an e- mail from the hotel telling us about the streets closed to the traffic. We wanted to visit nearby places during our stay but we just went to San Marino and decided to stay in Rimini the next days since driving was so difficult. It is a design hotel. So the reception, the breakfast room ;which works as a bar and restaurant as well, are very nice. About the room... it is different. The bathroom is big and nice to see but not really practical. The shower is in front of the toilet and sink and does not have any glass separating the area. So when one takes a shower everything gets wet which of course is very unpleasant. The bedroom area is quite small. There is little place for one’s things. There is only one mirror in the bathroom and a placard is inside the bathroom too? Not very convenient in my opinion. About the minibar located outside the room, I would not have problem, but it might happen that one wants to drink something late at night... anyway... The service in the reception was just ok, the ladies in the breakfast area were nice and helpful and the cleaning ladies did a good job, but the second day we arrive about four in the afternoon to rest a little bit and the room was still not ready. Wonderful hotel that always delivers with personality and design and a wonderful breakfast. in the middle of the old town and near the beach if you wish. have been here 5 times in different rooms and all have been wonderful. a given choice if I'm in Rimini.

I opted for this hotel following recommendations that it is better located than the many hotels close to the beach. I was surprised by the ultra modern touch- red door- but spacious apartment- super modern TV; bath to dream of. B'fast is better than what you find normally in Italy.

Terrible hotel, I have a reservation PAID two months ago, I travel today and I just received an email saying that the over sale the hotel and they don't have a room form me. They changed to another hotel, that's not professional and there's nothing to do. I have to accept the other hotel.

Confy design hotel right in the center of Rimini. Personally was a wrong choice because my collegues were much nearer to the beach and we all wanted to dinner together so the result was too much use of very expensive taxis! Although, it is a very nice hotel, very friendly staff and italian design is always present! Wifi works very well and the breakfast is not top but it is fair enough! One interesting thing but a little bit claustrophobic... the mechanism that is used to close you window makes you feel like you are in a room without windows which is a little bit scary...
