Our group was accommodated in this small hotel. The staff was incredibly funny and easy-going, taking care of anything the clients wanted. The rooms are well-equiped despite the hotel being given only 3 stars, but a refrigerator would make a great difference. It can be a bit noisy as the neighbourhood features night clubs but there are nice cafés and ice-cream shops within walking distance. It is a bit far from the town centre, about 5 km and 20 bus stops but should you ever visit Rimini, I strongly recommend you take a visit in the old town as it is wonderful, being completly the opposite of the busy and crowded shopping street align the coast. P.s. The cat is really cute!
I've been there with my family(wife ad 2 children) and I must say that Hotel Susy's best asset it's the staff. They're among the most polite and helpful people I have ever met. They'll do anything to help you. The rooms are ok and clean. The food is good and diverse. It's close to the beach- about 10 minutes walking. I have only one small problem- there is not a refrigerator in the room.
The hotel is a good no frills hotel, everyone works hard to make your stay enjoyable, it has an excellent bar with very reasonably priced drinks. Food for our coach party was very good for the money we paid and the rooms are spotless. Regrettably the hotel does have a noise problem beyond their control, the adjacent night club, busy railway line, air con' ( when set on 3 ) and early rubbish collection could cause problems unless you are a heavy sleeper or do as I did and wear ear plugs. BEWARE OF THE BUSES. If you use a bus make sure you validate your ticket when you get on, the bus company employs people who will fine you 66 Euro if you do not get your ticket date and time stamped from the machine at the front of the bus and there is no appeal. I saw ten tourists fined on one journey of 4km. I would stay at this hotel again but because if the way I have seen visitors to Italy treated I shall not be returning to this country.…
Hotel is clean food is good staff are friendly, the rooms are pretty basic could do with a small fridge in room.We have stayed here before can be a bit noisy at night with a night club across the road and the Hotel next door is a young peoples Hotel,if you can put up with that it's not in a bad location with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Just got back from staying at this hotel, Rooms very basic with no kettle or hairdryer, but very clean. We went with a coach party here, and not everyone was impressed as it was deffinatly the wrong month to go everyone suffered from a lack of sleep as the hotel was full of youngsters partying all night,we were lucky as we was in room 404 which was quieter than most. Theres a nightclub called Carnabys across the road, we sat on the corner in yummys bar and counted nine coach loads of teenagers all getting off to go to Carnabys so you can imagine the noise from them. We went half board the food was ok but i wouldnt go overboard about it. Staff are very pleasant. The swimming pool is across the road from the hotel and we had to come out for an hour and half the gates were locked so the attendant could go for lunch. The hotel is in the midst of loads of shops, and near the beach, which you have to pay for deck chairs the nearer the sea the more you pay, a lovely beach, which every hotel owns a part of. All in all we had a pleasant time, such an amazing huge resort.…
Great holiday overall but not too positive about the town and certainly not the hotel. Felt like we were in an episode of coach trip both in and out of the residence. We were half board and it had the feeling of school dinners sitting in the same table every night trying to avoid the same people. When one of the guests commented that we were in the HONEYMOON suite I could have died of excessive laughter. Nothing wrong with room but very basic, bed was like a fold p zed bed and a tv that is so high up you'll have a sore neck for a month. I do like a yoghurt in the morning but a gigantic bowl of cherry yoghurt between all the guests wasn't the best. Staff were quite friendly and they did organise trips to venice and rome if enough guests particpate. Venice was great but watch out for the tour guides decapatation device otherwise known As an umbrella. Really great bars with loads of different themes best one was an american style place think it was called shooters. The pool not great but a lad is stationed there all the time and takes very good care of it. Japanese bar at end of road is also good but serves anyone over 9 years old and smells of urine. Visit san marino if u can very close and it was lovely.…
Have stayed here a number of times, its simple/family run, spotlessly clean and the lunch or dinner in the restaurant is why it's so popular with Italians...the food is very good, salad buffet and soup to start, then a pasta course AND a main meat/fish course served at your table, by friendly Silvano, the head waiter that makes you very welcome! For the sweet course you just help yourself to ice cream, pastries or fruit at the buffet area. You might find a more fancy hotel...but you wont get better food ! Breakfast is a bit basic. Nice size swimming pool and sunbeds. The only drawbacks are that the hotel is near the railway line, and is also near a Disco but it didn't bother me. Rimini is very crowded during the summer season but still has much more charm than the high rise Spanish Costas, the beaches are cleaner and the shopping is miles better (head to nearby San Marino for duty free bargains).…
Granted we arrived late at night but to have to pull 3 cases down 2 streets as coaches cant get down the narrow street was BAD enough, But the 3 storey night club next door to the hotel was full so there was youngsters drinking sat at the side of the street. Well when I say at the side, the street was full to the extent you could not get to the hotel. We were met with vomit on the street. When we finally waded through the vomit and people we were met with a very basic room (NO HAIR DRIERS as advertised). The toilet wabbled and patio doors didnt close properly. The bed were the most uncomfy we have ever had to endure. my husband woke every morning with back pain. The pool was over the road from the hotel with all of about 20ish sunbeds. As a none meat eater the menu was shocking although you could try to arrange a different meal with the waiter who was lovel and tried to help. The menu was off putting for kids. The beach was a short walk away but it cost 4 euro per item to rent. The trains were not really a problem unless you were in bed then it made the bed shake. The noise was not that bad if you were at the back of the hotel. In saying all this the hotel was clean and the staff lovely it is just a shame it is situated were it is. Rimini its self was busy with people with not alot to do.…
Stayed as part of a package deal, this was the cheapest way to get to World Superbikes in Missano. Although room was basic, no need to request balcony room as only fits one chair but beds were comfotable but basic singles. Staff were always friendly, we were front of hotel 4th floor but train noise didn't affect sleep as when doors to balcony closed sound proof (almost). No street noise either but early in season. I'm non meat eater and had sufficent choice of food, all excellent, waiting staff again were great and bottles of beer and wine very very reasonably priced. Location good and beach nearby. Swimming pool ok but gym not great, most of equipment out of order apart from brand new running machine. Great place to stay if going to watch WSB, we hired cycles from round the courner and cycled the 15k along the beachfront, flat cycling 99% of the way. Would recommend for affordable stay with good food and friendly staff.…
