This lovely B and B is on a drab almost alley like street. But inside it is fabulous. Very clean modern and sleek. Hostess Francesca was terrific: greeted us with a map, talked to us about places to see, visit and eat. Made reservations for us and secured a cab for my 6:20 a.m. departure. Wonderful.

Near Perfect spot in Parma. Don’t let the drab street fool you, inside is a modern stylish gem with fantastic hosts. Francesca greeted us and immediately provided a map of the city with landmark places marked. She suggested several places for lunch and dinner and made reservations for us. Her charming husband, Roberto, told us about a food tour. This couple clearly know how to run what really is a boutique hotel. They are not on the premises, but Francesca was there every morning to see how we were and to answer any questions. The refrigerator in the main room is stocked with yogurt , juice , milk. There is a bowl of fresh fruit and an expresso machine. The table is set. We stayed in Room 2– great modern shower, bathroom fan, small armoire for hanging clothes. There are no bureaus or drawers, so unpacking could be challenging. There is a long shelf against the wall that acts as a desk. I stacked T-shirts on one corner. The room is tastefully decorated in neutral colors and there are double windows and shutters. The street is quiet, though. My one suggestion is to put room numbers outside the doors. After a few glasses of vino it’s easy to walk into the wrong room. Trust me on this one. No lift, but you can get help with your luggage if you need it. Great stay in a chic spot in a grand city.

Very nice B&B located in the city center, clean and value for money. Very kind the owner, Francesca. Don't worry if you have a car, there's a public parking at five minutes walking. If I had to stay in Parma again I'd return there.

This B & B is a central location, walking distance to all the ‘need to see and visit’ points. We were emailed by Roberto re arrival time and he was there to greet us. We were given a comprehensive run down of eating spots, all were good. Francesca prepared breakfast with great croissants and fruit, and there was all manner of other things available all day. Rooms were comfortable and tastefully furnished. Enough room for us. What we appreciated was the lift Roberto gave us to the train station, as we had already done some shopping. Highly recommended.

We spent one night of our honeymoon in Parma, staying at B&B Opera 11. The B&B is very comfortable with all modern conveniences and is clearly well-maintained by the owners. The room we stayed in felt almost new. The always-available snacks, juices, coffee and tea and filtered water were a really nice touch. The four things that make a good stay for us are a comfortable bed, a good shower, a hearty breakfast and fast WiFi. B&B Opera 11 delivers on all of the above. As an additional bonus, Roberto and Francesca are wonderful hosts - kind, eager to help and very knowledgable and well-connected locally. They recommended a brilliant restaurant for dinner and booked us a table. The service and food were both exquisite and prices were reasonable. They also recommended a little lunch spot just down the road where we enjoyed an afternoon aperitivo and told us the best attractions to visit in Parma. Francesca also arranged a taxi to take us to the station when we were departing. All in all, Parma is a city worth visiting with a reputation for culinary excellence that is well-deserved. If you visit Parma, be sure to stay at Opera 11.
