Lovely hotel situated close to the Ferrari factory in the historic town of Maranello. Great staff friendly atmosphere and fast check-in. All of the staff are friendly and helpful especially Isabella who looked after us very well. The rooms are really clean and comfortable.
Very nice experiance. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and comfortable rooms. A rich and varied breakfast. The place felt very Covid-safe. We recommend a visit to the restaurant (shuttleservice). Tasteful food in a beutiful environment. Alex made a good impression!
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights Friday 22nd-Monday 25th. It was a dream trip for my boyfriend as he has an endless passion for cars. The hotels location is fair, but the views advertised on the website are limited to what you receive, an abandoned building and some trees, especially frustrating when you pay extra for a balcony room. Breakfast is nice, but not to English taste. Cakes, hotdogs, strange scrambled eggs and olives to name the main areas. If this wasn’t included in our stay, we wouldn’t of ate here, it was extremely expensive for what was provided. The room itself was nice, the bathroom a little small. On the first night our shower completely flooded the room, I was told it was because I have long hair, when it was evident it hadn’t been cleaned properly considering my long hair caused no issue on any other nights shower. Trying to get help for this flood was a massive task, we rung reception, and my boyfriend had to go down twice to ask for some help before 2 maids come up. They didn’t English and this made the encounter extremely difficult. My clothes for the day we’re soaked so they offered laundry, which was a nice gesture. If I’d of known I’d have to wait 5 hours for it I would of passed, we were sat waiting in all day as I was left with no trousers after the shower flood. It ruined our museum plans for the day. Upon checkout, I had to argue with the lady as she tried to over charge me. One nights rate was paid before arrival as a deposit and when I contacted Expedia our travel company, we were informed this would be deducted from our final total. This was not the case. After a good 10 minutes of explaining this, the amount was finally taken from the bill. A couple of days after returning, I checked my bank and they’d taken the full amount of stay AND the previous deposit paid, without my permission! I again had to contact Expedia who were able to process a refund of the deposit paid. I didn’t bother to contact the hotel and the staff haven’t been helpful throughout our stay so went straight to Expedia. The business men around us definitely received a better service than us, a young couple from the UK. It was almost frowned upon and questioned us being there. If I wish to spend my hard earned money on a nice hotel, I don’t see why I shouldn’t receive the same level of service.…
Had a business event for 3 days in Maranello and couldnt done it without the help of the hotel team. Exceptional service, thank you to Giacomo, Emanuela, Alex, Adriano, Danila and Francesca for taking care of us, our event and ensuring our guests are well taken care of. We appreciate it very much!! Big thank you.
The hotel is very recommendable! The rooms are modern and stylishly furnished. The standard double room is sufficiently large due to its clever layout. The windows insulate perfectly, so that no noise from outside disturbs. Everything was clean, the staff friendly, the service good. A very rich breakfast was offered, which is rather the exception in Italy. In front of the hotel there is enough parking space. It’s a perfect location for people interested in Ferrari. The main entrance of the Ferrari factory is only a stone's throw away. The Ferrari Museum is easily accessible by foot (15 min.), first along the factory premises, then into Via Dino Ferrari. We will be happy to come back.
We had a wonderful stay for one night at this hotel. The rooms was Clean and neat, breakfast was lovely and the staff was very profesional and friendly. The closeness to The Ferarri factory was a plus for our stay :) The staff helped us to a great restaurant, Ristorante la Gazzella, with neat environment and great food, the shuttle bus was great travel.
Hotel Maranello Palace claims on its web site it is the most exclusive hotel in the area and is in green surroundings... The reality is, it is on a roundabout opposite a multi storey car park for the workers of Ferrari and is more like an economy motel than a 4 star hotel. The large beds, although comfy, have sheets that are too small. The bathroom is so small and poorly designed that you can not use the bin without it hitting the wall and you have to avoid the shelf when you slide open the door. The shower cubicle has an ingrained dirty base and has been badly repaired so bits flake off as you shower. The receptionist with short dark hair is incredibly rude and aggressive- avoid her and see the man who can give you maps and ideas of other non Ferrari things to do. On the plus side there is a large choice for breakfast and the ladies who serve there are lovely and it is very close to the Ferrari factory …
We spent one night there. The staff was really helpful and kind. The room was small but enough, the bed was big and the kid could sleep with us without any problem of space. The breakfast was good and diverse! The city center could be reach on foot, 20min. They have a restaurant outside that its reachable by car or with the shuttle service they offer. Food was really good.
The room was very nice, clean and modern. Bed was huge. AC was a must for us, and it worked great. The people were extra nice, helpful and kind. Spoke fluent english Breakfast was good with quite a lot of options. No parking issues
Great hotel for both business and if you’re just visiting the local area. Situated right by the factory there’s plenty to see and do, with the museum and the Fiorano race track just up the road, both worth a visit and also worth taking a little walk further into the town as there’s smaller restraints and bars. Staff are great and if you’re stuck for an evening meal I’d highly recommend the La Gazzella restaurant which reception will arrange free transport to and from.
