Cons: Booked a double room, got a twin room. No way to change it. Relatively cold entrance. Pros: Parking with EV chargers (Tesla destination charger). Next time in Bologna I will find another hotel with an EV charger.

We just stayed the night at IPortici Hotel in Bologna because we had an early morning flight the next day. This hotel fit the bill for just that...comfortable, clean, good location to the train, airport and historical center. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, actually not sure it was included with our room, but they did give us...

The hotel is conveniently located which takes short walks to the historical center. The single room I stayed in is small yet clean and comfortable enough for one night nap. Although the variety of breakfast buffet was limited, its food and drink quality met expectations.

We stayed 2 nights for birthday weekend. Everything you needed. Rooms comfortable and nicely appointed. The welcome at midnight was welcoming and courteous. Located on the main drag to Piazza Maggiore it was an easy walk to everything. We liked the breakfast particularly - the dining room is converted from an old theatre and the harpist accompanied the food -...

Just got back from a holiday in Italy. We stayed for one night in Bologna in the I Portici Hotel. The hotel is centrally located, close to the station and the old part of town. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean and modern. Breakfast was the best we had in Italy and the breakfast room is jaw...

Second visit in 4 months to a truly remarkable underrated city. The room I got was big, modern with an awsome rain shower in a dramatic drop of about five meters. All was great except the room was in a basement (room 112). Needless to say I moved with no fuss from the very nice satff hotel. Breakfast and breakfast...

when we arrived, there was a problem with electricity on the 3rd floor so they relocated us for one night to the Hotel Internazionale (excellent hotel). they couldn't have more apologetic. On our return the next day, we were given a room upgrade. Hotel location is great, room was lovely, breakfast good rather than great, would definitely stay again

The rooms were very large and overlooking a very busy avenue. Notified personnel several times about the rooms being too hot and having to keep the window open. The noise from the street below was deafening. The central location makes it very easy to visit the major attractions of a most beautiful city.

Hotel is very well located, 5 minutes walking from the train station and less then 10 from Piazza Maggiore, so you don't need the car to visit the city. We had a standard room; modern, extremely clean, well equipped just a little bit too small. There are no reasons to not recommend this hotel.

I so like this hotel, I now ask for the same room each visit. And being able to use the hotels car park is so convenient. A previous post complained it's expensive. Well if you begrudge paying Euros 25 a night, use the big underground car park where the market is located. The breakfast is excellent, and after a few...
