Stayed here for 4 nights. It's in a great location, reasonably priced and comfortable accommodation. There is no elevator from the ground floor to first floor which is a pain.. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Rooms are small but clean. Breakfast was very poor. I would recommend not to include breakfast in your stay and go to one... More

Uncomfortable bed, poor mattress Air conditioning didn't work at all I had a very poor nights sleep. Rather run-down appearance , shabby, rather than shabby chic. Breakfast was meagre and miserable. It seemed strange that in a city famous for food and hospitality and on a street filled with amazing produce, we were offered a only few slices of mortadella... More

We stayed at the Albergo delle Drapperie for 4 nights in August. We had initially booked for 3 nights, but subsequently decided to extend our stay a few weeks later, which was dealt with quickly and with no problem at all via email. We got a taxi from the airport, which cost €17, only €5 more than the bus, which... More

I have been to Bologna many times but this was my partner's first visit. Having stayed at this hotel many times of course I reserved a room. This was one of their best rooms and it was fabulous. Large room, lovely bathroom and a window box full of flowers. The air conditioning worked perfectly and we had a superb stay... More

Stayed 3 nights in this excellently located hotel - well positioned in the historic centre and close to everything! Our room was comfortable and neat with a small balcony overlooking the via below - a little noisy, but it didn't bother us as we found it part of the atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Spacious bathroom. Room size was smallish,... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in July at Room 401 on the 4th floor. The room was compact and had a view of the tallest of the two towers. The rooms had fridges, a free safe, good aircon and reliable WiFi. The inevitable (Italian) downside was the shower which even though we are not big was quite... More

If you want atmosphere, the location of this hotel in the old market town area is perfect. Walk out the door and you are instantly enveloped in life in Bologna. The managers and all staff we encountered were very friendly and approachable. The bed was comfy but the room was a compact size. The bathroom had everything you needed but... More

This little hotel has been around for a couple of hundred years. Nestled in the narrow laneways that surround le due torri, it provides quiet respite from the bustling streets below. The choices of place to eat are many, you don't even need to leave the block. With piazza maggiore and other sites very close, this is the perfect place... More

Gorgeous ceiling, elegant decor, perfect location, lovely staff. The room was cool, well-lit, quiet, and beautifully appointed. It's small but not cramped. It's on a tiny pedestrian street lined with fruit, fish, and flower shops; the main piazza is 2 blocks away.

This hotel is located in a great little side road in the heart of Bologna. Outside the hotel were shops selling fruit and fish, delicatessens and cafes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a few quirks - you have to climb upstairs with suitcases to reception (the receptionist insisted on carrying one of our cases up... More
