Situated at the foot of the Strada Maggiore and under porticos, this hotel is ideally suited to those who wish to explore the delights of this small city. The staff are helpful and friendly and the room clean and comfortable and the rates reasonable. There is no restaurant or bar but those can be found within the immediate vicinity.

This is described as being a hotel in what was originally an old monastery - however if we hadn't been told this in the blurb, you wouldn't know. Saying that, it was pleasant enough, clean rooms and bathrooms, breakfast (continental) included. Whilst the area was quiet, guests in the hotel were quite noisy, talking very loudly when coming in in... More

The attractive Hotel Pedrini is ideally situated for visiting the fabulous medieval centre of Bologna, just 10 minutes enjoyable walk along the fascinating Strada Maggiore to the Piazza Maggiore / Two Towers / Quadrilatero district. The Hotel was formerly an ancient convent but has been fully modernised in Art Deco style. Some of the rooms have terraces with views over... More

Hotel interesting mix. Staff excellent and especially under difficult circumstances with a new bar being built next door and working til after midnight!.drilling, shouting... nightmare! Excellent continental breakfast, clean room, good shower though just lousy bar neighbours!

Stayed here for one night Sept 2016. The first impression was the car park that is basically just some common area between 2 buildings. The charge for this seemed quite steep, but after travelling Italy, I realised this is a common occurrence. The hotel itself is 10 mins walk from the centre. We had a room on the ground floor... Stayed here 1 night with my fiance in September 16. Good location about a 10 min walk from city centre. Nice people, lovely little breakfast, nothing to complain about! Would be happy to return if back in bologna.

I stayed here for seven nights in May with a friend. We each had a single room and paid the same price. The booking was in my name. My room was very small and very dark. Although it was advertised as having a desk but there was actually no room for a bedside cabinet. I had to put my phone... More

Overall- my stay was just ok. I don't expect anything fancy, but when I got to my room it was obvious that they hadn't cleaned it well before my arrival. There was still used toilet paper in the toilet from the person who used it before and, sorry for the gross details, but some remanence of poop smeared on the... More

Not sure about all the rooms but our room on the 1st floor was quite depressive and dark , very small , we felt claustrophobic .. And didn't want to hang out in the room at all , the hotel is run down and the reception guy wasn't very welcoming - borderline cold . Not a good impression from the... More

The people were very nice and very helpful! However, the hotel is far too expensive for what is basically a very old hotel in need of a lot of work AND a lot of cleaning! The breakfast was basic - just that! And to ask 20 euro for supposedly secured parking in the common space between buildings is - for... More
