We stayed here for three nights and can report that we had a well appointed and quiet room, comfortable beds and as friendly and helpful a front desk as we've ever had. The property has a very creative decorating scheme and especially the public areas are both visually interesting and functional. Even a free automated coffee machine. The location is...

We chose this hotel for a week-long visit to Bologna for two reasons. One, it was about as central to the old walled city as you can get and two, it was our type of hotel. Just around the corner from Bologna's main Piazza Maggiore, you can wander the ancient streets from Al Capello Rosso with no need for buses...

Loved the Hotel. It was nice and clean and the rooms were large. If you include the breakfast it is well worth the extra costs. The location was also very central. If I stay again in Bologna, I will definitely stay here

This was our third stay at this four star hotel and we enjoyed it even though we were there for only a short time. The staff is very helpful and friendly and made a wonderful recommendation for dinner which was only a five minute walk. Our room was larger than we have had in the past but very comfortable. I...

If you are planning a trip to Bologna choose this hotel and you will not be disapointed . The location is ideal 2 minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore. Nice hotel few feet far from Piazza Maggiore, ideally located to visit city center. A good Enoteca completes this hotel: you can taste local dishes and wines (among best wines in the region: rosso di Montalcino, Brunello, Chianti Riserva). Parking is very expensive and the staff is not very customer friendly: I left hotel after lunch (I had in their...

The hotel is just a few steps away from Piazza Maggiore but in a quiet side road. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The double room we stayed in was very small but very good sound-proofed. The breakfast buffet, served in the adjoining restaurant, was excellent and very rich. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant and it was...

From the time I first contacted this hotel for a surprise weekend away for my husband's birthday, they couldn't have been more helpful. They recommended the Baronciani room, loved the design, though the room a little small, but it was very well fitted, and a great shower! The hotel were so helpful with restaurant recommendations and bookings, and the location...

The Capello Rosso is central, just off the Piazza Maggiore, which is a great location to explore Bologna. The hotel has pretensions of being a boutique hotel when is really just a bit quirky. Nevertheless the hotel was comfortable and extremely clean (we had fresh high quality bed linen and towels every day). Breakfasts were fine. We enjoyed our stay...
