Very happy with our room which was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Some reviewers have referred to the noise from outside but didn't bother us as it is exactly what you'd expect from a hotel so close to the Piazza Maggiore! Stunning location as you are literally 30 seconds from the square. Breakfast was lovely too with lots of choice...

A very cute and comfortable hotel. Perfectly situated in the heart of town and close to all attractions. It looks a little dated and the fittings certainly are a little old, but I think it added to the charm. The breakfast in the morning was a sizeable offering and filled us completely before our day of exploration. Friendly staff made...

Greeted by happy, helpful staff and had been given a room with a small balcony, which was lovely. The hotel is perfectly positioned being central to this historic city. The hotel was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Chocolates and a bottle of bubbly was left for us on our first night! The breakfast was the best I have...

I have stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in the Piazza Maggiore suite for an average nightly rate of 450 Eur. Let me start at the beginning, the reception area is very small and dirty, the bell "boy" is older then my father so I felt quite stupid when he was carrying the luggage, I tried to tell him...

We stayed five nights at Hotel Orologio in October 2016. The entire experience from beginning to end was flawless. This is an art hotel that is accommodating to travelers without being touristy. The staff are professional, courteous, and English-friendly. The breakfast buffet was the best of our trip in Italy - a wonderful array of meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, breads,...

Pro: Great location to explore the old town and the staff at breakfast was friendly and attentive. Con: We booked junior suite where upon check-in was told, we have been upgraded to suite with its own side entrance. Little did we know, instead of suite, we were given the studio, which is in building next door. Yes, it was spacious,...

Literally a few steps from the Piazza Maggiore this hotel is excellently located for exploring the city of Bologna. Room smallish but we'll equipped with a safe, mini bar and kettle. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast a selection of fruit, cereal, cold meats etc as typical in Europe. They have a lounge area where you can relax if you wish. All...

On arrival the greeting was friendly and welcoming. We were given a lovely suite with a great city view. This hotel is so close to some of the best sights in the city, so literally just drop your bags off and wander into Bolognas mix of history and culture.

A stone's throw from the Piazza Maggiore in the pedestrian precinct in the heart of central Bologna, the hotel is only indicated by a modest 'Albergo' sign outside. The rooms are well appointed, spacious and quiet. Presumably it was a substantial private residence before to judge by a curiosity: the lift only starts above the first floor, but there are...

This very nice and Italian, unspoiled hotel is in the best possible location om Bologna. A minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore. Large rooms, we got a lovely room facing the front, a little square. Great breakfast and complimentary cakes and Italian liqour in the afternoon. So sweet. This is not a cool, hip hotel, but it is Italian and that's...
