It is located in the heart of the City. You may drive to its parking. Beautifully renovated. Big, quiet, clean room makes you feel you are at home. The breakfast was good. The personnel was helpful. I paid 80eu + 12 Parking. Negative point: The beds very hard.

Wonderful location right in the centre of this beautiful town. Staff were excellent, very friendly and great for recommending places to eat or see. The receptionist was really friendly and could not do enough for us. Parking is a bonus in Urbino.

Even though this former monastery could use some TLC, it was one of my favorite stays in Italy. Unlike American usage, monastery refers to a residence for clergy: Dominican priests, not a nun's cloister. Couldn't help but meditate on what the souls who lived in these halls in centuries past may have been thinking. This hostelry has an excellent staff;...

Great building and location in lovely Urbino. The hotel itself was a little disappointing with little attention to detail. Public areas are scruffy and lifts are scratched and covered in grubby finger marks. Room was big and comfortable but bathroom was very basic and shower did not work well. Breakfast was very good. Restaurant was not open for dinner as...

The hotel is wonderfully situated -right opposite the ducal palace and there is good parking (at 12 Euros/night). The rooms are large, clean and neutrally decorated -although not much natural light. There are two main problems for me -which mean I could never stay here again. 1. The beds are the hardest I have ever come across in a hotel....

This is not really a four star hotel in terms of service or accommodations. We were scheduled to stay at Hotel Bonconte, where I had stayed before, and I was looking forward to a leisurely two nights there this trip. However, due to another guest's illness, we were transferred to Albergo San Domenico. I do admit that this was more...

The converted convent hotel right across the Palazzo Ducale - what can be better! Just step out of the door - and you are in the middle of everything! I could not be happier with the choice of hotel in Urbino. Maybe their beds are a bit hard, but this is normal in Europe. It is to be expected.

My husband was in the area for a class he took for a week which included wonderful activities throughout the week so I came along. Urbino is beautiful. It has many great restaurants cafes and shops. The staff here are wonderful. I cannot say enough about the breakfasts. What a spread! The rooms are actually large for European rooms. The...

A one night stay in a lovely hotel located in the heart of Urbino, opposite the Ducale Palace and the Duomo: the location could not be better. Secure parking in the otherwise traffic restricted city is invaluable. Staff helpful and friendly, and obviously take great pride in their city. Room (junior suite) was spacious and comfortable and breakfast plentiful and...
