The "Vittoria" hotel, a fine building in "Belle Epoque" style, set in the main square of the town, in front of the sea, has been fully modernized whilst retaining that air of grace and refined elegance which has long made it a fascinating element of Pesaro's social and cultural life. The "Vittoria" Hotel, in fact, has for more than ninety years played host to the leading figures of the political, artistic, economic and aristocratic world, and has been the scene of countless important ceremonies, celebration and business. The hotel's central position, peaceful surroundings, luxurious furnishings, with authentic period pieces, high level of modern comfort and services and wide range of leisure facilities all qualify the "Vittoria" as a truly first class establishment.

The hotel is a beautiful building with elegant common areas, comfortable bedrooms and a lovely outside area with swimming pool. It is well situated. The safe in the room is inadequate for today’s iPads and computers. Eating breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Wide choice for breakfast but delays in replenishing some items. No fault of the staff member - rushed off their feet.

The hotel is in a beautiful old building that may have been grand in the 50s and 60s. Sadly it hasn’t been updated since! It’s old and tired and not worth your money. Customer service is non existent, but the most hilarious part is the use of the indoor pool, which is not free of charge for hotel guests. Wait, what? Exactly.... enough said!

Vittoria hotel is ideally suited for everything in Pesaro, close to a stunning beach, restaurants, shops and the marina. The staff are very friendly and helpful but the bar is not well manned. We gave up having drinks in the hotel as you would have to find someone in reception to help. The restaurant is very quiet with little atmosphere. Breakfast can be eaten outside by the pool which we did every morning, which was very pleasant. The breakfast was continental, which I found a welcome change. The decor is a little outdated but I feel it does lend itself well to the character of the hotel but does seem to make the rooms dark. We had a balcony but it was very small. The outside pool was freezing and very limited deck beds. If you want location and a hotel with character, then this is the hotel for you !

If you’re looking to go back to the 40’s and 50’s this is the place for you. This hotel is so outdated. Rooms smells of mold and bleach, bathtub is also has mold on the edges. Bed is so uncomfortable that you wake up with back and neck pains. There is no iron in the room and when asked for one, the response was “we don’t have any on the premises. The room key is a physical key and has a door bell weight(imagine carrying that around). There is no shuttle service to the train. The only good thing is that the beach is a very short walk. The on-site restaurant, food is not good. Wine was good lol. I would not recommend this place at all. Better off paying a couple bucks extra and staying .5 miles away with direct beach access and way more amenities.

Pesaro is worth a visit but I don’t think there are many great hotels in the town. We picked Vittoria as it had a “Family Room” but 5 beds in a single room on the “Superior Floor” made it feel more like a camp site. Also the Air Conditioning didn’t work very well so we did have to sweat out the night. Given the room was relatively expensive it was a disappointing experience. Great location though.
