Beachfront hotel with stunning views! Qualified, friendly and welcoming staff. Structure a little dated, but clean and tidy. The Director and Mrs. Deborah were extremely kind and always attentive to the needs of the customers (in our case a school group).

Hotel very close to the sea, slightly far from the historic center of Pesaro and Fano. Clean facility, very kind and helpful staff for every question!
The restaurant service is punctual and everything is delicious.
A special thank you to Alfio, the manager, to Frank, the bartender and to Vincenzo, our waiter, who welcomed us and spoiled us for all the meals we were served.

We returned sure of finding the same treatment as last year, however, sorry to say but the situation was different. The structure has remained the same, although it requires a radical renovation because it is no longer up to current needs, both as rooms furnished in an old way (fridge a few centimeters from the bed), bathrooms not always clean and perhaps without bidets and televisions. 21 inches certainly not in line with current needs. The biggest disappointment was the poor breakfast and also lack of wholemeal products necessary for "differently young" people with related pathologies. As for lunch and dinner, only the last days of the stay were up to par, otherwise dishes in line with a company canteen. The positive notes relate to the staff at the reception (see Mrs Deborah) and above all the maitre Marco who I consider to be a highly professional person as well as immensely helpful which fortunately makes up for the shortcomings of the restaurant. Obviously the location of the hotel is special because the beach is adjacent to the hotel.

The recent visit by my wife and myself to the Astoria Hotel in St Petersburg was not my first visit: I had stayed there as a student in August 1959. I had of course expected changes but was astonished and delighted by the sheer beauty of the city as it is now and by the skill and imagination with which the new Astoria has blended its historic past with modernity, in creating a wonderful hotel with the highest standards of comfort. From our arrival at reception to our departure every member of staff whom we encountered was extraordinarily friendly and helpful in this superbly run hotel. Breakfast in the elegant Astoria Restaurant was excellent as was the service in the charming Lichfield Cocktail Bar, where we spent many an hour, watching life go by in St Isaac’s Square, glass in hand and dining on the best Steak Tartare I have ever tasted. We cannot wait to return.

Dont spend your time and money on this hotel.

Location is good, beach is great. Hotel standard medium.

Ristorante and service in restaurant was terrible. Tried to ask for improvements - but they simply did not have the capabilities. Never tried having to complain so many times in a hotel and at the end gave up.

Breakfast - worst I ever tried in 40 years of travelling in Italy. Every day simple products like cheese, youghurt even bread ran out.
Lunch and dinner were decent if we did not find plastic or other objects in the food. 3 desserts of 7 were ok.

Hotel should have maximum 1-2 stars

We stayed at the Hotel Astoria from May 31st to June 2nd, on the occasion of a football tournament in the area, with a group of around 40 people including parents and very young footballers. We had a great time in all respects, particularly traveling with a group of around 20 14 year olds the hotel staff were super patient, helpful and very supportive for any needs that arose during our stay. Truly top location, practically on the beach and very close to the pedestrian centre... Super Recommended..!!!

This year we confirm the Hotel Astoria as the best hotel in Pesaro for: courtesy, services, kindness, professionalism, excellent cuisine, entertainment, quality and more. Experience to try. Furthermore, this year, the entertainer, for adults and children, is part of the staff, therefore present all day. Experience to try. Thank you Hotel Astoria.
