#4 of 16 hotels in Tivoli
Located in Tivoli Terme (Rome), one of the main important thermal city of Italy, Grand Hotel Duca d'Este is the ideal location for the organization of conferences, meetings and events. It is also the right choice for your holidays in Lazio. The Grand Hotel Duca d'Este is a 4 star hotel near Rome, not far from the main motorway connections (only 7 km far from the A24, just 5 km far from A1) and 400 meters from the train station "Bagni di Tivoli" that allows you to reach Rome Termini Station in just 30 minutes. The hotel claims a prestigious position in an area full of charm and historical sites such as Villa d'Este (with its one hundred newly restored fountains and exclusive panoramic restaurant) and Villa Adriana (with its ancient ruins inside a 120 hectares park). For relaxation has a fitness centre (sauna, steam bath, indoor heated pool and small gym) where you can enjoy your stay! And in the summer the good weather will allow you to use the outdoor pool. So...Enjoy your stay!

The hotel is very dated and needs modernising. The rooms a small and the bathroom is very dated. The safe in the hotel was tiny - you could barely store your passport. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Menu options in the restaurant could be improved - it was very limited.

I stayed with my mother and sister for a night at this hotel, and it was everything we hoped it would be for our getaway, we wanted to spend a full day of relax at The Acque ALBULE nearby. We chose the option with access included, enjoyed a full day of pampering, and walked back to the hotel to enjoy a dinner served by a very friendly and helpful staff. The room had everything we needed, it was very comfortable, we even had a couple of beds brought in so we could all have our own. The breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed the pool area until we went to check out. I definitely stay back here if I am ever in the area again, looking forward to it!

Just had a fantastic 60 minute massage by Elena. She knew exactly which spots to work on and what pressure to apply when and where . She also integrated reiki technique into the session. Very good technique, good results, excellent masseuse and highly recommend booking time with her.

There are FAR better places to stay enroute to/from Rome. Deeply uncomfortable beds and lacklustre breakfast. At least it has Parking and is not too far from the wonderful fish place (see my other review) Beware also, that to use the pool you see advertised attracts a €15pp fee!

Stayed at the Grand Hotel Duca d'Este for a night to visit Tivoli Gardens. Nice hotel. Nothing spectacular, but comfortable, clean, and pleasant. Close to the train station but a bit of a drive to the gardens.
