Neighborhood
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

For what you pay, considering this is Rome, you get a very good base. We had a spacious room with nice touches like towels wrapped with ribbon. It is not modern, but is clean and excellent for the price. Would certainly reccomend.

Perfect stay for two nights, would highly recommend, area okay (before arriving we had reservations about where it was and soon realised once you left the station itself the road was fine) - 2 mins walk from station. Room was enormous and air conditioning unit...More

The train station is super close. 5 minute walk only. This is the main feature of the hotel. The hotel itself is very basic and the room was pretty outdated, but whatever. You are paying for the location. We felt safe, and the area is...More
