Deserves every one of its five stars. Fabolous location (bus stop in front of the guest house or just a 10-12 min walk to explore Vatican City, lots of shops and restaurants nearby). Rooms were light and comfortable (as shown in the pictures) and were cleaned daily. They are well equipped with toiletries, towels and tea making facilities. Breakfast was excellent and because of Corona restrictions served in the rooms – loved having breakfast on the balcony. Very good Corona precautions in place – so we felt very safe here 😊
Very friendly and caring hosts. Rosanna contacted us in advance of our stay to give clear instructions on how to get in to our rooms outside the normal check in hours – this little video is so great 😊 Rosanna gave us useful tips on how to find our way around and they left some information in our rooms where to try Italian food and shop. We had a late return flight and they kept our luggage safe (without charge) after checking out so we could enjoy our last day. We were made to feel so welcome - thank you Rosanna and team for a lovely experience. Great stay and would definitely book again! Highly recommended.

Me and my husband stayed here for a weekend away as I had always wanted to come to Rome. This place was amazing, the service provided was outstanding and they could not do enough!
Each morning we were given breakfast which we had in bed due to Covid but it just made the experience so special. The room is modern but romantic for couples and has a high quality feel. I would recommend for couples to go here. If you like walking you can get into the centre in about 45 minutes or you can catch the bus which stops just out side. Another option which we found fun was the Lime scooters which were cheap to use.
There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel so you have enough choice for food.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend and were more than happy with our stay.
Firstly, we had a late flight in which means we’d arrive at the hotel at past 1am. Contacting the hotel in advance they gave us clear instructions on how to get in to our room outside the normal check in hours (they even made a video!). They even arranged a really good value transfer from the airport for us which dropped us outside the hotel.
The breakfast was lovely and the rooms were really clean. Nothing was too much to ask and everyone spoke great english and they helped us understand the busses and trains back to the airport. They even kept our bags safe in a room for us until we came back to collect them after check out.
The buses are regular and directly outside the hotel, and we walked into the center and it took around an hour. The Vatican City is a 10 min walk and the colosseum is really accessible by bus which drops you a 5 min walk away.
Thank you for being so accommodating, we really enjoyed our stay, if we come back in the future we wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Booked directly with the hotel for a 4 night stay. From start to finish everything was perfect. Reception staff were helpful in providing advice on places to eat and visit.
The location was ideal - a 15 minute walk to the Vatican City and ideally placed on a bus route to take you anywhere in the city once you were exhausted from walking everywhere!
The hotel was absolutely spotless with the room cleaned daily. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Nice, cozy room, the bed was soft and comfortable, the toilet was nicely decorated. (Shower hose a bit too short) Small served breakfast, very personal and family-run guest house. The hosts are always there in the morning and are very nice and friendly, before I arrived I was given a perfect explanation via Whatsapp how to get into the house using codes, and that went without a hitch. The offered and booked (paid) external airport shuttle service was also perfectly organized. Unfortunately the metro station is a bit far away (about 25 minutes on foot) but the bus station is right outside the door, San Pietro train station about 10 minutes. And St. Peter's Basilica is less than 15 minutes on foot from the room. 2 small supermarkets nearby, one of them (Carrefour Express) even open until midnight. Several restaurants nearby, especially in the direction of Vatican City. Our short stay in Rome with a focus on Vatican City (3 nights) was absolutely wonderful, especially because of the Casa Tua Vaticano Guest House.

I rarely comment but I can't say enough good things about this place. We were warmly greeted by Thomasso and his beautiful assistant Rosanna who gave us all kinds of helpful advice to enhance our visit to Rome. The spacious room was very clean which pleased us as we are sticklers on cleanliness. Breakfast was decent each morning of our 3 day stay. B&B is conveniently located in a central area literally a minute's walk to a bus stop and it's an easy walk to Vatican area tourist spots. This is the way a B&B is supposed to be run. If we get back to Rome, we will definitely stay here again.

Top place for visiting Rome and close to the Vatican. Room was plenty what we want very clean and a lovely bed Bathroom also very clean and ideal for us. Small balcony not much of a view but we are in the middle of a city. Breakfast was OK don't expect a fry up. We got here late but e mailed in advance the time we would arrive so we had the code to get in and got our keys at reception. We got two trains from the airport and then walked up the hill to the hotel there is a bus at the station but if you are like us and still mobile it didn't seem worth it we only used transport if we were going far. Will book this hotel again if we ever come back to Rome. PS We did this trip in 2019 before lockdown.

Kia ora! We stayed here at the peak of the European holiday season and really enjoyed this quaint, clean and tidy hotel/guest house.
The best part of our stay were out hosts, they were brilliant! We were given a locals perspective on public transport and sightseeing. They made bookings on our behalf whilst serving us breakfast. We loved the interactions with our hosts and swapped Italian words for NZ Maori. They took a genuine interest in where were from and the overall experience was like we were staying with family. We travelled with our 3 kids and they were thoughtful and accommodating to room configurations and our changing requirements. Highly recommended!!! Thank you for having us!

Home away from home! Tomasso is an excellent host, funny, charming and clearly loved his job. Rosanna makes a good cappuccino and is very sweet. The breakfast is filling, despite not being an “American” meal. Yogurts, fruit, juice, choice of croissants, & hot drink. You can also get hard boiled eggs and toasted bread with melted cheese and ham. All served with a smile and a laugh! If we ever get back to Rome, we will come home to Casa Mia.

We stayed at this guest house from the 7th of April to the 12th of April, 2024. Our room was small but cozy and had a veranda. After a day of sightseeing, was lovely to relax on the veranda with a cup of tea or coffee and some cake from a nearby cafe.
Although the guest house is not centrally located, it is easily accessible by bus. The guest house owners are very friendly and helpful. They provided detailed instructions on how to access the hotel and helped us with purchasing excursion tickets. They also promptly answered all our questions.
To reach the guest house from the central station, where buses from the airport arrive, we took two buses. Before our arrival, the guest house owners contacted us via WhatsApp with detailed instructions on how to get to the place. The photo shows the name of the bus stop and the bus numbers that can take you to this guest house.
We had a great time at this guest house in Rome and are very thankful to the owners.

The economy room is without breakfast but you can enjoy it with an extra charge of euro 5,00 per person.
30km away
Hello, taxi from Ciampino to Casa Mia Vaticano cost euro 30,00 per way. You can also take the Bus #720 that takes you to Laurentina Metro B where you can reach Termini station by metro line B and finally you can take train direction Grosseto and get off to Roma San Pietro then walk to the guesthouse.

Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom14 contributions31 helpful votesHello, I am hoping someone can help. If I am getting the Sitbus from the Airport to the Vatican area do you know what number bus I would need to get to get to the hotel? Thanks
Hello Sitshuttle bus can stop you in Via Aurelia 480 where you can take bus 916 direction Piazza Venezia and get off after 7 stops in DAMASO bus stop in front of the hotel. In case you get off in Via Crescenzio 2 with sitshuttle bus you can walk to the hotel 20 minutes.
I will suggest you to take train to Trastevere then change train to Roma San Pietro which is just 700 mt far from Casa Vaticano. Any info or more local tips follow us on Facebook "Casa Tua Vaticano"
