Hotel Pulitzer has 83 double rooms. The style is chic & glamour due to the use of luxury materials and finishes, starting from the flooring in Wenge coloured wood that matches the colour of the fabrics and furnishings ranging from white to black, and taking in shades of brown to create a warm, welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The bathrooms of the rooms are a modern interpretation of the 1920s New York style using small ceramic tiles, in this case in black, which go well with the Wenge wood flooring and the contemporary style sanitary fixtures.

Hotel Pulitzer Roma is frequently applauded for its stylish atmosphere, featuring modern interiors and thoughtful amenities such as a balcony and complimentary Prosecco. The rooms are consistently noted for their cleanliness and contemporary design, although some guests mention poor soundproofing. While the service is generally regarded as friendly and helpful, there have been instances of indifferent staff. This hotel is modern, with large spotlessly clean bedrooms with everything you need on a city break - Large TV, fridge/mini bar hairdryer etc. The bathroom was ideal with an excellent rainfall shower. Bed linen was crisp and white and we found the beds to be very comfortable. The air conditioning was good to have as some days were hot. Very close to a nice little cafe - we had breakfast here rather than the hotel and then just a minutes walk to the Marconi Metro stop. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel and we were able to get a bus to and from here to Trastevere. The Marconi stop is less than 15 mins ride to Termini. We found the hotel staff to be very pleasant, friendly and helpful - unlike a previous reviewer. Can’t fault anything about our trip to Hotel Pulitzer.

This boutique hotel is very stylist and lovely. The location is a 2 minute walk for the metro which is great, however be aware that there is nothing much else in the area and it is a little rundown. Bed comfort is not the best and the pillows are very flat. Staff are very indifferent towards guests and not at all helpful, in fact bordering on rude. They definitely need training in customer service. On the positive we had an outstanding time in Rome loved it! However we would not recommend this hotel for your vacation stay elsewhere!!

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Hotel Pulitzer. We are very sorry to hear that your stay has not lived up to your expectations. We take inspiration from his suggestions that are really precious for us. The Management is committed and dedicated to training courses, in particular with the Restaurant and Reception Staff who are young but willing to improve themselves. We are sure that during your next stay you will find our staff more prepared and up to your expectations. The staff of the Reception is available 24h, also from the convenient telephone in your rooms, we would have been very pleased to be able to bring you pillows of a different type. The comfort of every Guest is very important to us. We take in over your welcome comment to remind all our guests that Hotel Pulitzer is located slightly outside the city center, we are in fact 20 minutes drive from Colosseum or 10 minutes by metro. The nearest station is just 100 meters away. Hotel Pulitzer is located halfway between the futuristic Eur district, the nerve center of the most important companies, which has the beautiful botanical park where you can walk and swim in the "Piscina delle Rose", and the historic district of San Paolo with one of the largest and most beautiful basilicas in Italy, owned by the Vatican, now also houses one of the most important universities in Rome, neighborhood full of restaurants and places to go for a quick lunch or an evening with friends. We remain at your disposal, Kind Regards, Hotel Pulitzer Front Desk

This was my first trip in a while and happened to be my birthday, the hotel was notified of this but did nothing to make the occasion special. After an early morning flight on arrival we had to wait until check in time and even after that time had passed they still had not come to get us to check us in. I had to go to the check in desk again to see if our room was ready. The room was nice, clean and modern and they bring up an iron and ironing board on request. Very close to the metro to take you into the city, we bought tickets from the nearby cafe near to the hotel. Take note the hotel tax is per person and not per room so this was expensive. The customer service of the reception staff does need improving as I found them not very helpful. But overall nice and clean hotel close to the metro so you can explore Rome.

Dear Guest, thank you very much for choosing Hotel Pulitzer and for taking the time to share your experience with us. Such a pleasure to read that you enjoyed the stay! We are very sorry for what happened, we would have been very pleased to have heard about the special occasion and organize something. Often the agencies do not make us share the customer’s requests, it is always better to contact us directly when it comes to celebrations. We take inspiration from your suggestions that are precious for us. The Management, with commitment and dedication, is facing training paths in particular with the Restaurant and Reception Staff that, we agree with you, is young but willing to learn and improve. We are sure that, in occasion of your next stay, you will find our Staff more prepared and up to your expectations. With our best regards,

This property looks quite plain and uninteresting from the outside however, the inside is very nicely decorated. The room has a hot pot for coffee or tea, safe, blow dryer. The house slippers are in the room. You must request for a bathrobe which is complimentary. There’s a small balcony with varying degrees of a view. The front desk people were very helpful they assisted me with a problem with my door card and bringing up an iron and ironing board. The only problem that I had was that the hotel is very far from all of the tourist sites. You would need to hop onto the subway take a cab or a bus. There were several eating establishments around the neighborhood anywhere from a 10 minute walk and longer. There’s breakfast downstairs, which is well appointed as well as a restaurant. You could also call up for room service if you don’t want to venture out.

Hotel is convenient location next to metro and offers all amenities- gym, bar, restaurant, lounge areas. I have been staying there for many years as I visit close friends in the area but have met many people who stay there and go into central Rome with a short trip on the metro. In my opinion the location gives visitors an opportunity to experience a residential area outside of central Rome as well as restaurants that do not cater to tourists while still being close to central Rome

Lovely boutique hotel in a residential part of Rome (but easy to get to the center of town via bus or metro). The staff were friendly, the decor very attractive and the room clean and comfortable. We stayed there as we were visiting relatives who live nearby. Good value - not much more expensive than an Air BnB in the same local area .

Lovely hotel definitely 4 *, a couple of minutes walk to the metro which will take you to all the sights in 10-15 minutes. Area round about hotel is quite run down but felt safe enough. Our room was really nice, plenty of storage, tea and coffee, free safe and added bonus of a balcony. Good shower over a bath. Comfy big bed.Great air con which was so needed in the heatwave. We didn't go to the rooftop terrace as you have to pay extra which I didn't agree with. We were bed and breakfast, good choice of cereals, pastries, usual continental, great pancake making machine, there was a selection of hot food, bacon, eggs etc but it was quite cold this could be improved.

Lovely clean room each day, staff were friendly & helpful. We used the rooftop terrace. We really enjoyed it but be mindful it's quite small (4 sun loungers and a couple of chairs with an average sized hot tub) ok for us as only 4 using it but if it at capacity (10) I'd say that it wouldn't be as pleasurable. The metro is also really convenient, just a quick walk down the road past some shops (the shop nearest the hotel is run by a lovely guy we stopped most nights for snacks, water and a chat!) Get the 72hour ticket if you're staying longer, it's just easier to hop on and off as you go :)

Recently stayed at the hotel with three other friends for four nights for a girls trip. The hotel was very modern and so was the bedrooms. The bedrooms were spotless and the maid came in every day and did basic cleaning - making the bed etc. There is a jacuzzi on the roof top which is £25pp which we didn’t use but our balcony led onto where it was and when the sun was setting the jacuzzi would be lovely to use. The metro is a short walk, 2/3 minutes and is pretty easy to use when you get the hang of it and cost effective. It cost us €26 for a weekly pass. We caught taxi’s home in the evening which varied from around €16-€26. There’s a little shop on the side just down from the hotel by the coffee shop and the shop owner is lovely and friendly. All in all a lovely hotel to stay in for a city break in Rome. There is two reason we didn’t rate it five stars - one being, when we arrived we was told we had to pay a security deposit of €100. We asked if it would be taken from the card straight away and was told it would be debited but not taken. Which it was. They then said it would be refunded after we left as it was for any damages or using of the mini fridge etc but we wasn’t aware of the extra cost before arriving and preferably would of preferred knowing as we had budgeted being in Rome and it was taken straight away not debited. The second reason is - when arriving home late Sunday evening, the three previous nights we had caught taxi’s home and was dropped outside the hotel. Sunday we caught public transport back and got off about a 2/3 minute walk down the road opposite the coffee shop. When looking up the road, all along side the left hand side were ‘women working’ stood in underwear. We paid no notice to it but a family or someone on their own may not feel as comfortable walking past to get to the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time to review Hotel Pulitzer and for the nice words you spent. We regret that your stay has been made unpleasant by the fact that we reserve the right to ask for a security deposit at check-in, it is part of the company policy and this information is shown on all our partner sites. The deposit is a block that is made at Check-In, on the card appears as a withdrawal and the time of release and return depends on the manager of each credit card. As for what happens outside of Hotel Pulitzer, the Manager has no power, we can only apologize on behalf of the city of Rome, which, being a metropolis, has many faces. We hope to have you back our guests. Kind Regards, Hotel Pulitzer
