Excellent location, easily you will be to any tourist location.. the owner (Alex) makes a personal welcome and gives important tips to manage visit to the city .. comfortable accommodation, fully equipped for comfort and rest at the end of a day of visits to the city. Around isso careful and as no confusion of a tourists zone.. places to have a dinner around are excellent. The accommodation is a pleasant surprise for being environmentally friendly and modern.

The owner, Alex, is very friendly and nice to guests. I arrived at the station closest to the B&B late due to the delay of my flight. He picked me up there. It helped me a lot because it was already dark outside and raining. The room was very clean, cool and comfortable. There is a supermarket near the B&B. It was very convenient. Not far from the city center. I recommend this B&B to my friends.

The accommodation is a 3 bed apartment in an apartment block rather than a traditional B&B. Rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. Breakfast is limited to a self serve kitchen area with packet croissants, toast, coffee and juice. Location is fine, limited bars/restaurants nearby. Travestere would offer more choice. Public transport is great with 3 bus options within 200 meters or so from the entrance to the accommodation. The owners communication is excellent which starts before you arrive. He will arrange a transfer from the airport for if you wish otherwise the fixed price taxis charge €48. The local city tax (€3.50 per person, per night) is required in cash when you arrive, so make sure you have some euros's ready.

We started our two-week roadtrip in rome, and decided to stay at Piccolotel due to its close proximiti to the city and nice rooms. We also read some great reviews online! And Piccolotel didn't dissapoint. It's a very modern and nice small hotel with everything you expect from a B&B. Great rooms with a modern twist, TV with audio language options (nice for us non-italians), coffee and small selection of juices, milk, toast and pastrys for breakfast (free of charge) as well as AirConditioning, in-room-fridge and safe. Plenty of public transportation options from right outside the door! Buses and trams a plenty! But you're also just a short walk to charming Travestere, flea markets, nice resturants, and close distance to downtown Rome with all its sights. We walked everywhere

Good location, great host, good beds, clean room, good shower and a very reasonable price level. We will certainly choose Piccolotel next time we will visit Rome. Trastavere has plenty of nice bars and restaurants and the access to downtown Rome and the main sighs by public transport is good.

For my first stay in Rome, I couldn't dream better than to spend four nights in Piccolotel. A friend of mine booked it for me and it was a great idea. The rooms are really, really nice. The owner is also really, really nice. There is a bus direct to "termini" station just in front of the hotel. And to visit, you can take the bus or the taxi, but you can, how I did, walk. Piccolotel is near all famous places in Rome. I really recommend you this hotel, where I would return for sure, if I was going back to Rome.

Very nice place to stay in Rome, modern, clean and excellent. Alex provides useful information about the city, his recommendations are well worth to take on board and he helps wherever he can. The rooms are specious enough, clean but they don't provide a view. It is located in a busy shopping area, easy access with public transportation to the touristic places. It is a really good value for the price what we paid.
