After some troubles with flooded bathroom on the day of arrival (was fixed quickly and manager offered an adjacent room to take the shower), I still think it is absolutely the best option for families with kids. ✓ Clean hotel, linens were sparkling white. ✓Small refrigerator was always stocked with snacks for kids at no extra charge. ✓ Great selection of capsuled tea and coffee for a very nice coffee machine. Bottled water was always provided. ✓ Very good breakfast ✓ Modern and clean spa. The price is reasonable or included in the room charge, based on booking selection. Kids are allowed into the pool and rest area, untill noon. ✓Garage, WiFi, adjucent park, outdoor pool, water, coffee from the beverage machines were always provided. ✓ Shuttle bus to the Spanish steps runs for a small fee. Just remember to book in advance. The only thing that you better avoid is having lunch or dinner at this place. During our stay, only restaurant at the bar level was open. Food was never good there. However, you probably do not care about it as there are endless options to find places to eat in Rome. If your option is to eat at the hotel, order something that is super easy to cook, like pasta or sandwich or you might be very disappointed. If you order a taxi, please ask the receptionist to mention to reservation line that passengers are sensitive to smoke. Not a guarantee to get a smoke-free taxi, but better try. Overall, we really liked the hotel. It is run by nice people. The manager on duty was always extra helpful to us. The hotels staff were polite and friendly. I would likely book it again though it take 15-20 min to get to Vittoriano by car.…
The bathroom flooded because the shower wasn’t draining. The water was completely stagnant. The night manager wouldn’t come up to check it out, the reception sent house keeping to clean the water and said “maybe” someone from maintenance could come to look at the shower “after breakfast.” They didn’t offer another room, or even a place to shower until the problem could be fixed. To add insult to injury the pillows were dirty like they’d been recently used. The rest of the room was dirty. And the water that flooded from the shower went into the room next door. I’d give 0 stars if I could. Don’t waste your time or money here. That said, the crew from housekeeping that came to mop up all the water and replace all the pillows was very courteous, management and reception could learn a thing or two from them.…
Good: large rooms, good spa area Not good: Beds to hard, bathroom looks dirty, stains that didnt go away( old rom?) Female Personal in reception not kindly Far away from Rome Centrum, shuttlebus always fulbooked Breakfast ok minus
Overall we had an excellent experience. Quality service and accommodation. Easy access to city but located in a quiet area. Hotel has connection with local sports facilities (tennis etc) which is great for teenagers.
Amazing Spa Day!! Me and my two friends have lived in Rome for a few months and decided to have a spa day for my birthday! It was absolutely amazing. Despite not being guests at the hotel, we were so welcomed and comfortable. The amenities were lovely and the treatments had us feeling so relaxed and pampered. Manuela and Ilaria made our visit incredible! The fruit snacks and herbal tea topped off the incredible day. If you are in the Rome area definitely make the trip out for a relaxing Roman spa day.
A nice choice for a relaxing stay in Rome, a bit away from the center but with spa and other amenities. Located at the Gianicolo, roughly 30 minutes from the center by taxi (if the traffic allows). But you are away from the hectic ness of the center, have a spacious room and a nice bed. Don’t forget to enjoy the dinner buffet on Friday and Saturday.
First time in Rome and was concerned about not being in the city center. While still in the city its tucked away for a nice cozy stay. Reviews were not too great before, so was concerned but we have nothing bad to say. Room was too warm, other then that nothing. Staff does not go over and beyond, just average. Would stay here again. Alberta was the most helpful and friendly front desk hostess. Also would mentioned the cleaning staff supervisor noticed my door I left open for my husband and she knocked to make sure I was aware (this alone but this rating to a 4 vs 3 star) We would stay here again. Spa was a very nice experience as well.
There are few hotels that have made me speechless in my life, but this is one of them. Everything from the rooms, to the restaurants, to the spa and the staff are nothing else than amazing. If you're looking for a relaxing stay in Rome I would recommend to stay here.
Not only Luduvica but essentially all people did a fabulous job! We received great recommendations for events, sightseeing and restaurants! The bar serves really good cocktails! Goid shuttle service to center! 5 stars if location would be more in center and the water of the shower could be warmer! Please install a bit more to habg clothes in the room!
This was one of the best weeks of our lives! The hotel is amazing, much better than in the pictures. The staff is great and made us feel very welcome with you a baby! I can't wait to come back. The breakfast is fabulous and the staff were always going above and beyond to make sure the 5* service was guaranteed even on busy mornings.
