Clean, big rooms (we booked 2 singles) very large bathrooms that looked like they had been recently renovated, a friendly... More

I found this hotel a few months ago on TripAdvisor and was really looking forward to our recent 2 night (March 7-9) stay. After arriving in Rome from Florence, it took a few minutes to get our bearings but found the hotel soon and easily enough. When you come out of the train station bear right and keep going until... The Hotel owns a very good restaurant on the same street. We will give the Hotel our best recomandations and off course we will come back when we... More

I stayed in low season for only 40Euros a night (double room) which is amazing. I have told my friends about this place and they are apparently already booked a couple months in advance, for march and april. I stayed in other cities in Italy (Florence and Venice), and this was the cheapest hotel, yet best one. The hotel is... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
