The hotel is a clean, quiet hotel in an excellent location within one block of the metro. The staff is friendly and helpful and speaks English very well. We were fortunate to get a top floor room with a lovely balcony to sit on in the evening. The breakfast, though it does not vary, was very good. I would recommend... More

Very good hotel. Good value for money! Clean, large modern room, very helpful friendly staff who also speak good English, Very close to the Re di Roma tube station whose line takes you direct to Vatican City for example. Walking distance from the Colosseum and Ancient Forum. Some very nice restaurants nearby and best of all, almost silent over night... More

The hotel is conveniently located near the Re di Roma metro station, in a quiet neighbourhood. Quite close to the Tuscolana railway station, if you fancy taking the train to Rome's suburbs like EUR (which I recommend). Our room was spacious and comfortable, very tastefully decorated. Staff was kind and helpful. Not a very diverse breakfast offering (which is normal,... More

This place is solid. Clean. Friendly staff. If you want a hotel in a nice residential area that is slightly off the tourist path in Rome. This is a good one. Nothing flashy, but good. Easy access to Metro. Walk to San Giovanni. Didn't go to any restaurants in the area, so I can't speak to them.

I have booked this hotel for our 7 night stay in Rome. The room was really nice, very clean, large amd with all facilities including a safe and a small refrigerator. The receptionist was really helpful and even suggested us some good restaurants in the vicinity. The breakfast offers a wide variety of food including salami, cheese, yogurts, fruits, cereal... I have stayed at this hotel a few days ago for 4 nights and must state it was one of the best little hotels I've stayed at in Rome. I prefer a hotel to a B&B and have to say this hotel met all of my requirements. Very clean, the staff was helpful and courteous, rooms were very nice and... More

My second stay at this hotel did not fare so well as the previous one, one year ago. The good parts highlighted in the previous review https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g187791-d774803-r266375154-Hotel_Re_di_Roma-Rome_Lazio.html remain valid. The downsides increased though: - The elevator is getting older and older, i.e. slower and slower, its electronics into the “dementia” level (i.e. cancelling your command) - Breakfast had IDENTICAL products... This was a nice hotel for visiting Rome. The metro stop was a little bit further of a walk run I would have liked. There is close street access to the metro, but you have to walk a good distance once there in subterranean tunnels. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. One night they even ordered... More

The Hotel Re di Roma offers excellent value for money. Clean bedroom, fresh linen, air con, comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast plain and simple but more than adequate. A few hundred yards to the Metro and you are in the heart of Rome. There are a few restaurants and trattorias nearby offering evening meals, but you'll have to book or... More
