Staff were wonderful, breakfast was superb and the rooms were lovely and modern.
Good location, close to main train station but walking distance to Colosseum, great restaurants and metro to head to Vatican City etc. Rooms were very spacious including a great shower and comfortable bed.
Breakfast was a highlight. Upon entering the breakfast room you are offered a coffee/tea and the big smoothie of the day, yum. Most of the continental breakfast was all made in house, so many cakes, cookies and one morning I even had crepes which was great as I don’t eat bacon, eggs, sausage etc. Even the granola is made in house!
We will recommend to anyone interested in staying in Rome, it certainly made our stay exceptional! Thank you!

To sum up: The Fifteen Keys Hotel was excellent from start to finish and exceeded our expectations. It is a 5 star 4 star hotel!

The hotel arranged pick-up from the airport in a premium car with an excellent driver that took us straight to the hotel after an early flight.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted by the staff who made us a cappuccino to be enjoyed in the quaint courtyard while our bags were taken to our room.

We stayed in the Delxue Blue Room which was spacious and elegantly furnished, and also included a private terrace as well as a coffee machine. A luxurious shower and a well stacked mini bar added to a great impression. The room looked even better than in the pictures.

The hotel itself is situated in the lovely Monti area, surrounded by great restaurant, cafes and bars. It is also within walking distance from most sights and other interesting neighborhoods.

The staff is super attentive and helped us with restaurant recommendations, taxi and airport transport booking and provided us with breakfast outside regular hours. They really made us feel at home and all of them deserves the highest of praise.

The hotel breakfast selection is really good and the coffee is, as expected in Italy, excellent.

However, a few minor things that would have made the hotel even better (albeit from an already very high standard):

The bed was somewhat too hard to our personal taste; and
The room could have been even more soundproof (even though it could be discussed whether this is part of the charm of a big city).

All in all, a stylish and homely boutique hotel. We will not be staying anywhere else when returning to the Eternal City.

My fiancé' and I stayed at the Fifteen Keys Hotel on the third weekend of February 2022. Our stay couldn't have been better. The staff was extremely polite, accommodating and made every effort to satisfy all our requests. We stayed in the suite on the 4th floor. The room was very spacious and included all the amenities one would desire (it even had a curling iron, a mat, and weights). The bathroom also had ample space (two sinks and a huge shower) and was equipped with soft robes, as well as Malin + Goetz amenities. The hotel offers a great breakfast (multiple salty or sweet foods and several fresh squeezed juices) that includes options for every type of preference or dietary requirement (I am a celiac and was provided with several gluten-free alternatives). The hotel also offers bikes to rent, both muscular and electric. Highly recommended for a leisure or business trip where the desire is to stay in a high-class place, in a central but quiet location, and most importantly at a good price!

The Fifteen Keys Hotel was easily one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in (my boyfriend also agreed). It is in a great location, in the neighborhood of Monti with some fantastic restaurants just down the street, in a quieter location but easily walkable to all the big attractions (12 minute walk to the Colosseum, less than 10 minute walk to a Metro stop, 10 minute walk from the train station). There is also a small market right next door. The staff asked if we needed any help and happily arranged for a private car pick up and return to the airport at a very competitive and reasonable price. They arranged for COVID tests nearby (and helped cancel them when we no longer needed them for travel). Staff was extremely welcoming, front door is also locked overnight (but there is someone at the front when you return late from dinner to buzz you in). Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were spacious, amazing amenities, huge bathroom. It was extremely hot in Rome when we went, and the AC in our room was unbearable and the best compared to any other hotel we stayed in in Italy.

We loved it here and undoubtedly would stay here again on our next trip back to Rome!

The hotel is really very well located very near Termini station and Santa Maria Maggiore in a very quiet area full of little Trattorias, shops and real Roman life.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They recommended us places to eat near the hotel where we enjoyed real Roman food.
They gave us an upgrade in the room that was very nice, modern decorated, quiet (the street is really quiet). Breakfast was served in a very cozy dining room or in a patio full of plants. It was very complete. Giulia, the manager of the house made our visit a pleasure. We eagerly recommend the hotel. We will come back to Fifteen hotel when in Rome again.

This charming boutique hotel is cozy and quaint. Staff are so helpful and accommodating, ready to meet your every need. The breakfast, if not included when you purchase, is 20€. It has so many options! Alas, I opted to head out walking instead, after a frothy cappuccino of course. Termini is 10 minutes walk away but for enjoying the area step deeper into Monti - lots of vintage shops and cute restaurants.
Shop around on different apps and sites for room prices since I found they vary a lot.
The rooms vary a lot too and are four per floor with a shared patio/balcony. Beds are comfy and blackout curtains are such a blessing. Showers only, no tubs, which is common in Rome. Pay attention to how to use your key to enter - place the card against the sensor, wait for the click, then push the door in without turning the knob. Use your key card to operate lights by placing it in the slot on the wall. Prego!
Have a great stay and take the steps at least once to enjoy all the whimsical art. I forgot to ask who the artist is….

We stayed here for three nights while visiting Rome. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a room with a terrace. The room was much larger than most hotels we’ve stayed in across Europe, but I’m not sure how much larger it was compared to the normal rate we booked with. The hotel staff was incredibly warm, very helpful and knowledgeable, and of course accommodating. The bathroom was a nice size with a stand up shower that was great. The bed was firm, but very comfortable. Breakfast everyday was really nice! Anything you might want to include fruit plates, a pastry basket, eggs/bacon, ham and cheese sandwich, and pancakes. On top of that they also offered any type of coffee, juice, water, and Prosecco. There was also a dry bar with prepackaged snacks in the breakfast area including nuts, trail mix, cereal, and Nutella or jam. Overall, a very nice stay for a really reasonable rate!

The Fifteen Keys has all of the elements that make a hotel stay perfect for me. The staff, every member of the staff, was warm and welcoming during our stay. The room was a nice size for Europe, very comfortable bedding and mattress, quiet, and the bathroom was well equipped. The style is more hip modern than old world luxe. I like either and I knew what I was getting based upon the photos. We stayed only one night. Upon our return from dinner, we asked if the bar was open and the guy behind the desk, I’m sorry that I don’t remember names, became our bartender and poured us a drink. Another couple arrived and he made them a complicated cocktail. This was at around 10:00 at night. Great service. The bar/breakfast room is beautiful and intimate as is the patio. We were not able to enjoy the patio or breakfast the next morning as we had an early flight, but the hotel prepared a few breakfast treats for us in to go bags.

I loved the Monti neighborhood. It’s out of the way of the throngs of tourists that are in the Centro Storico and now Trastevere. There are many very good restaurants, it’s a short walk to the Coliseum, where we listened to a street musician play his violin as the sun was setting, magical! If you want a hotel with a lot of action, or a location amidst the major tourist areas, this hotel is not for you. No question goes unanswered, even before arrival via email. We will be back next year.

we had a lovely experience! highly recommend.

checkin: an aperol spritz was included in our package and they were tasty. we arrived at 8am and they were able to get us in our room by 11am, much appreciated as we arrived quite weary! until the room was ready they allowed us to freshen up in the downstairs bathroom

tea time: 5-6p downstairs daily w tea and cookies. enjoy the garden or an inside table

breakfast: great spread - fresh fruit juice, pastries, fruits, eggs, meats, salmon, veggies, prosecco, granola, cereal, etc

rooms: first night we stayed in room 15 (4th floor) w a large balcony over via urbana, a fun view/vibe. then we left for a few days and returned a few days later to room 3 (1st floor) w a larger lower balcony over the garden. we loved both rooms! the water pressure was fantastic in the shower and the rooms were very well appointed.

bar: we enjoyed a drink from the bar a few times, very nice

reception: all the employees were very kind and helpful, no problems at all

housekeeping: respectful, tidy

location: great spot in the middle of month, a fun neighborhood. would recommend zia rosetta, galleria cabernet voltaire (wine bar), maido, bar monti, simon bar, and aromaticus (lovely vegan spot). also frida's is a fun florist. pam local is the market next door in case you want to eat in. santa maria maggiore is the huge church around the corner which is one of the big four basilicas in rome. we walked to the vatican several times (2mi each way) - basically a straight shot on via panisperna. and then we walked to the colisseum, roman forum, palatine hill which were all more like 1mi away.

Dear Scbeaches, Thank you for your amazing and detailed review. I am so happy to know that you appreciated the welcome Spritz included in the Aperol Spring offer, we love to pamper our guests with seasonal special offer available on our website. If you want to come back next autumn, we will offer you a Negroni this time 😊 Tea and breakfast are our cherry on top and it’s always very satisfying when are appreciated! I am very glad you liked both your rooms; being very different one from the other it’s good to know you enjoyed them both. I just wonder which one was your favourite... Thank you for mentioning our staff, they all do a great job always with a smile on their face. Grazie mille for your recommendation of your fav spot in Monti, I couldn't have said it better myself. We loved our stay here. Location fantastic - in the walking area of the Monti District near to the action and close to many significant attractions but far enough distant to feel out of the fray. Also close to Termini- less than 10 minutes walking. The room was spacious, well appointed and the balcony overlooking the courtyard was perfect. The breakfast was so lovely with fresh juice, beautiful cappuccino and many special touches of homemade granola and wonderful cakes in addition to yogurt, toast, fruit hot food like sausages and scrambled or hard boiled eggs. Most of all though was the warmth and helpful nature of the staff. Our luggage did not make the trip and the front desk helped us follow up by phone to that airline several times. Even after we left for the next leg of our journey the staff continued to try to reach the lost baggage at the Rome airport and emailed us several times to update. Way beyond any expectation of ours - the staff were so lovely. They gave us tips on where to find replacements for the belongings we did not have and just made us feel less alone with our problem. This type of care is pure gold.

We stayed in a Superior Grey room. I see from their website that it has 50% more floor space than a Classic Light room. The Superior Grey room layout, however, wastes floor space with a long corridor to get to the bathroom and exit door. I would think that a Classic Light room would be fine.
