Had been looking forward to visiting this hotel due to its very good ratings and beautiful roof terrace which is displayed as the main attraction. On arrival, we experienced a rather indifferent demand to see our passports and credit card, rather than being greeted with a warm welcome. My travel companion was almost pushed by the bell boy in order for her to stand in front of the temperature scanner, which was most inappropriate. After passing this, we were informed by the less than customer service-minded receptionist Silvia that due to COVID-19 serving drinks on the roof terrace had been cancelled (apparently based on the logic that consumption of alcohol leads directly to contracting COVID-19), leaving us with the impression that it was somewhat inappropriate for us to go there. After hearing Silvia reeling off all the COVID-19 precautions, we went to our room. Hoping to get a Coca-Cola after the long travel, I looked in the mini-bar to find only mineral water. Asking the bell boy if it was possible to get a Coca-Cola I was met with the response "No, not possible due to COVID"?? , which doesn't make any sense. In all fairness our room was spacious with good aircondition and high quality bathroom facilities, but we couldn't forget the unfriendly reception and feeling of being a nuisance to the staff. We do want to emphasize that the receptionist Federica was very courteous and service-minded, which is to be commended. Needless to say, we won't be returning to this hotel.

We stayed here in September 2020, the hotel is perfectly located to see all the main sites in Rome. Upon arrival our temperatures were checked and our room was spotlessly clean, and daily cleaning took place in our rooms, creating reassurance in these difficult times. The rooms are boutique style, modern bathroom with rainforest shower, and gorgeous black marble floors, good air conditioning, and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room, and is table service, order taken and delivered to your table, I assume this would normally be self service, and adapted for COVID 19, a good continental breakfast. The staff are all welcoming and friendly, and were great at arranging transport when required. There is a stunning roof terrace with outstanding views of Rome, including the Pantheon, and st peters basilica dome! We walked to all the main tourist sites from the hotel, including the colosseum & Roman forum, Vatican City and Spanish steps, all were pleasant walks. The piazza Navona is a few steps away from the hotel and has lots of lovely restaurants and bars, and of course gelato stores! We loved this hotel and location and would highly recommend a visit.

We stayed here end of July amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The staff were extremely helpful and took great precautions throughout our stay. Temperature check on arrival, masks worn and sanitiser available. Hotel was spotless, rooms were cleaned and changed every day. The waiter at the breakfast bar remembered our order each morning which was lovely personal touch to our stay. The restaurant opposite; Lion, is good for food if you need something quickly after you land.

My wife and I were in Rome last week at this hotel. We cannot say enough about this place. The staff was welcoming and friendly and we felt right at home. Elenora greeted us every morning for breakfast and remembered our lattes. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of many attractions. Because of the pandemic in Italy our tours that we scheduled were being changed each day. The staff which consisted of Sylvia, Lyuba and Michele were very helpful and informed us of these changes and made everything easy. During our stay, the hotel closed and we were transferred to another hotel. If we ever come back to Rome, we would love come back to this hotel. It was Special.

We were upgraded to this hotel after our previous booking went wrong. I was so happy to be lcoated right next to one of my favourite piazza in Roma, piazza Navona. This hotel is on the upper end in terms of price but worth it. The hotel itself is very clean and modern and centrally located to be able to walk everywhere in roma. Buffet breakfast was included and had a good variety of options. The room was very spacious and they have a nice rooftop bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
