Super location, but even though not very expensive, the 6th floor room was a depressing acquaintance. Very low dark brown ceiling in your head. Narrow bathroom. Worn out bed linen. The receptionists were very nice. However, 4 nights in such a room is too long.

Quite street , elevator which hard to find in Rome close to via del corso and the metro station. The room is very clean but a bit small. But it's enough to spend few days...well we came to explore Rome not the hotel

This is near ripeta and corso so you can walk. There is good food on those streets and on the small cross streets. A pharmacy is near as is a small mini market. Pizza is only 10 e. The room was clean. The staff were nice. This is a great bargain. There is great shopping on the streets north. Nelson...

For a quality central room you will struggle to find something better value. If the size doesn't worry you this is the place. We asked for a balcony, which we didn't use enough as we so busy looking around the city - and that's easy from this location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we will book this...

Loved it , rooms spotless, staff really friendly and helpful, lots of smiles, Great location for everything and exceptional value for money , would definitely stay here again.... Dropped one star as in hot weather it would have been nice to have a small fridge in room for water, drinks etc. .

We found Okapi Rooms a great place to stay for a couple of nights in Rome. The hotel is right on the Piazza de Popolo, with a short walk to the Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps and a longer walk / metro ride to the Vatican and Colluseum. The area around has a nice balance of shops and restaraunts, and...

This is basically a hostel with tiny private rooms and private bathrooms. I loved the location, because the only reason I came back to Rome this summer was to go to the Vatican and Trevi Fountain. The hotel is easily within walking distance of both, as well as the Piazza Navonna. Reception is open 24/7. I found the young, white...

This was a wonderful place to stay at during our last stay in Italy. The room was a little small but so well set up that we didn't mind. The staff was wonderful to us. Located in a great area. Just outside the hotel are several restaurants and cafes. Easy to find a place to eat on the way back...

My boyfriend and I stayed in okapi rooms for 5 nights the room was spotless and even had a balcony with a table to sit out on. From okapi rooms we walked to all the major attractions with ease. For it being right up the road from piazza del popolo it's still quiet. Staff are also very friendly and helpful.For...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
