I enjoy places in big cities out of center and big crowds where you arrive at night and see no people around, that's exactly an experience that you can find in Il Romitello. Despise being far from the center there's a lot of bus options, metro and the car way is not tricky at all. Enjoy a good breakfast and...

The property isn't bad. The rooms are minimal. The breakfast was good. It was very local. If you are used to eggs and bacon this isn't the place for you. The biggest issue we had with our stay was the fact that there was no hot water. Rome is a bit chilly and I'm used to having hot water. I...

If you are looking for a clean and reasonable place keep on reading. If you need a place with valet parking, room service and a honeymoon suite then quit so. Surrounden by a huge garden and with free parking you find the place in an outskirt of Rome. 300 meters from the next bus stop that takes you to the...

The hotel was very nice with a big garden full of green. The English of the receptionist was on high level and the staff was very helpful. It is true that is not in the centre of Rome, but via buses the city is just for 30 minutes far. The room was each day cleaned up, every two days new...

We spend 2 nights in Il Romitello during our weekendtrip to explore Rome. When we arrived there was a 'general strike' in Rome, which often happen. Because we we expected trains not to go, we contacted Andrea from the reception of Il Romitello the night before and she arranged private transportation from the Fiumicino airport to the hotel. Great service...

We had wanted to stay out of the main hustle and bustle of Rome and found this hotel to be a great compromise between city and suburb. The hotel is at the end of the underground and then a bus ride away (we stayed out too late one night and weren't able to catch a bus back, which made for...

The hotel is in kind of a quarter of emmigrants, but this means that the whole neighbourhood was really cheap. You can eat for 3 times less than in the center. There are many supermarkerts just 2 corners far. The people in the hotel are very nice, very helpful. The WiFi is a little bit slow on the 2nd floor,...
