This place is minimalistic, but it has everything you need for your stay in Rome. My bathroom was clean and the room was big enough. It had a lovely window to a side street. And even though this place is located on quite big street, the noise level is minimal so you get a good night sleep. The host of... More

At first didn't know what to expect.... but what a nice surprise. Once we walked into the courtyard which was so typical for Rome we went into the building. On the third level was bundi house. We were greeted by a very nice hostess. We arrived early in the morning so She took down our information and then told us... More

I stayed here for my week solo trip in the xmas period and it was awesome, arrived without the best of planning as I was pretty keen on just chilling and as I had a week by myself get around to all the places I wanted too at a steady place.. I arrived and the girls were amazing so helpful... More

This is an amazing hotel if you are interested in staying in Rome for sightseeing and exploring the city. The location is perfect, so we did not use public transport (only metro, because once it was rainy; the metro station is also nearby in case); so for us the Rome centre was even small. All destinations were reachable in 40... More

We stayed 8 days there in September 2015 and rather enjoyed it. It really hot at the time, but thankfully the room had a AC which helped especially at nights. The greatest advantages of this place are definitely price and location. It is located on a very popular street - Via Cavour and it's only couple of minutes away from... More

Eve just checked out today and had a lovely few days in Rome. After a disaster flight from Barcelona it was so lovely to be welcomed by michaela and shown to our comfortable AIR CONDITIONED room! The guesthouse is easy to find - close to Cavour metro station. It is clean, the staff are friendly and very well priced. Overall... More

We love staying in places like this, it feels like you've your own apartment in the city, not a girl. The location was very central, everything you needed was in the room or available (mini fridge, hairdryer, etc) and the street outside had plenty of shops and restaurants. It was easy to walk to the major sights. The only minus... More

The title says it all. Located on via Cavour, this little gem of a hotel is perfect for a tourist. You step out of the main door and look to your right and you see the Roman Forums. Walk 3 minutes, then left and you see the colosseum. Turn right and you reach the pantheon in 15 minutes. Bang in... More

It was a great stay. The location is perfect. It's a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia and also close to the termini. Every sight was within walking distance. I definitely recommend it, mostly for its position. The room itself was good, there was also a kitchen you can use if you'd like and there were common... More

It's clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, there's a common kitchen that we didn't use though and every room has it's own bathroom. It's very close to the Colosseum and to the city center in general. Value for money. I'd choose it if I ever visit Rome again!

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
