Brilliant location, you step out the front door and practically into the Pantheon. Located near Torre Argentina for access to buses everywhere in Rome and within walking distance of all the main sights. The accommodation itself is amazing value given this location, and is in an old building tucked behind a big wooden door. Quirky and a bit of character... More

We were warmly welcomed by the staff and were pleasantly surprised by the amazing location of this b&b--a few meters away from the Pantheon. The breakfast was good and the b&b was simple and clean, covering all our needs for our stay. Good experience!

Oct 2015 was our second visit to Al Pantheon conThomas Mann, and I gave a good review of this accommodation in July, 2015 covering our first visit. Location for the price is VERY good, one hundred meters from the Pantheon. Breakfast is mostly liquids and bread/pastries. Our October 2015 visit, will be our last however. This B&B is run by... Friendly host. We had booked a double room with bath but got an apartment in fact which was most welcome as most of the restaurants around serve tourist food. Beds comfortable. A bit dark during the day due to frosted glass throughout but I didn'rt go to Rome to spend the day in the flat. Bedrooms well heated from the... More

The hotel cancel my booking the day before of check in, they sent me to another hotel Casaromana, very rustic to winter Rome and charging the same cost to it. I didn`t choose to this hotel, I felt mislead.

This was a nice place to stay, 2 steps from the Panteon in an old historic building with marble staircases and original ceilings-lovely. Plenty of hot water and heating, and all the amenities for a short or long stay. The breakfast I could have done without- there was nothing fresh-not even a banana. We were all just dying for a... I made the mistake of first making the nonrefundable reservation, and then reading the reviews.... This ends up being a mixed review. I called the telephone number to be checked in on friday at 10:45 pm, they answered, and were attentive, they met us at the hotel without any problems, so that was very good. We had 9:30 tickets to... More

Room dirty and cleaned every 3 days, bathroom very dirty, building in state of disrepair. Breakfast terrible, no windows to the outside. Air Conditioning was not working, nor the TV. This is not a hotel, but 2 apartments on 1st and 2nd floor of an old dirty building above a smelly and noisy courtyard. No reception, no staff on duty... More

After reading some reviews over this B&B online I was nervous to book it. But all nervousness was for nothing. It is a cheap, clean, roomy accommodation in a top location. When you arrive you have to call them (phone number is on their doorbell) and they will come within 15 minutes as they do not have a lobby. Our... More

We booked the B&B, then I read reviews on trip advisor, and started to panic..... But it wasn't as people made out. The hotel arranged for someone to pick us up from the airport, which I found a real help. The building is old, and a little worn down, but, still a lovely old traditional building. The owner was pleasant... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
