I booked this hotel on the understanding I would get the basics of a 4 star hotel as advertised. Clearly this wasn't the case. Although the rooms had the basics and clean we had to endure; a blocked shower tray, constant sewage smells, a TV and remote the doesn't work. I reported this twice and nothing was done. Music was being played most of the night so one can't go to sleep. WiFi only works in the lobby, staff had very poor communication skills or knowledge of customer service. Breakfast was a joke, basic, just had a coffee machine, some tost making facility and some pastries, which you get a choice if you come early. Last years Christmas decorations were still on the wall. Overall very disappointed, this at best a 1 star hotel. I would note rate it that much. It is also well outside Rome, so all pre-booked cabs will charge you an extra premium each way to the airport. Not much else to do as it is well out in the sticks. If had the choice I would have booked central Rome hotel with some degree of service. It seems the hotel management are just happy with the overnight coach load of Chinese travelers, who don't expect much to keep them going.

We did not choose this hotel it was part of a Groupon Voucher deal to visit Rome and when we saw it was 4 star we thought that will be ok. Oh wrong can you be? It probably was 4 star back in the seventies as it had a pool, tennis courts, volley ball, a massive veranda. BUT its so very tired and delapidated with rusty chairs, a pool that has not been used in years, NO restaurant, NO tea & coffee facilities in the room, mouldy grouting in the shower cubicle. I would not award it ONE star. It cost 40 Euros a day to get in to the city. You would be better getting a hotel nearer the city. This was a false economy and we will not use Groupon again either!

Only one small lift available at this hotel. Wifi is free but only strong at reception area. No kettle to boil water but able to get hot water from the reception for free. Very basic breakfast only with some breads, cakes, hams, cereal, coffee, tea and juice.

Room and hotel very basic - No Tea/coffee sets or welcome pack (or wardrobe doors!). Very minimalist feel with single beds puched together and only 1 chair and only 1 plug spare that wasnt being used for the fridge. Reception staff we appalingly rude on all incounters with them E.g walked into Lobby to buy bottles of Fanta, to find male receptionist on his mobile. We got ignored. We went to the fridge and got our own drinks, took them back to reception. Still on the phone, and without a word to us, he stuck his hand out and clicked his fingers for money. Never even got a "goodbye" or "thanks for staying with us". The Maid we had was nice. Kept our room clean and turned down our bed every day. Never used and of the amenities, so dont know if they do offer any of the stuff they say... Can't imagine they do. The staff seem to hate their jobs. It's a shame, has the potiental to be a nice hotel. Alright location - Walking out the hotel 5-10mins to the left there is a supermarket and electronics shop (where we bought a small, cheap kettle). Carrying on for another 10-15mins is the train station and will got you into Rome in half an hour. Trains very regular and cheap. €1pppj. Metro in Rome is €1.50. A 5min walk to the right of the hotel was the most amazing little pizzeria! Pony Pizza is delightful and well worth a visit or two. We ate there 4 times as the resturant in the hotel was a lot more expensive and we didn't see the point with so many bad reviews of it. It says 4* on the building but it doesn't come close. Doesn't even have all the 2* or 3* quailties (according to a quick wiki search).

stsyed in this hotel Saturday 8th to Wednesday 12th with 3 friends. Have to say after reading some of the reviews and being worried about going, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. If you’re looking for full on luxury then this isn’t for you but if you’re looking for comfy beds, fluffy towels and air conditioning then this is perfect. Rooms were clean, and while the bathroom could possibly be regrouted - it was clean, with fresh towels and complimentary toiletries. We also had slippers, and the AC was a dream come true. Reception staff are friendly, even with the language barrier and helped as best they could. There’s a small bar for soft drinks etc, and it’s peaceful at nighttime. There’s a beautiful view from the wee lounge at reception also. If I’m ever back in Rome, this is where I’d stay. As transport was also so easy! For anyone touring the metro passes are worth every penny! Thank you again to all the staff - from the Scottish girls!
