Convenient and great value hotel. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the corner room with the balcony, it was nice to soak our feet in the outside jacuzzi. The room was clean. The staff was wonderful and gave 3 great restaurant recommendations.

We got a great deal on this place so we went with it. Our price (from booking.com) included breakfast. The only extra we paid at the end was 3 euros per person, per night. There was no mini bar besides the 2 bottles of water in our small fridge. THE GOOD: There were 4 pillow options and we overall had...

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Romanico Palace. The hotel is in a great location, walkable to the train, sites, restaurants, and metro. The staff was fabulous, very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely decorated, felt warm and inviting, the bed was very comfortable. You could access the wireless internet from the room, which was free. We...

There were a lot of upmarket hotels and I believe embassies nearby. + It was reasonably clean + The lounge area was lovely and peaceful + The shower was wonderful- rainhead with jets. + Large, comfortable double beds. It's true that it was 2 singles pushed...

Every request my travel companion and I asked of them, was fulfilled promptly (make sure you see the Roof Terrace! The views of Rome are amazing). The...

Stayed here using a groupon voucher but upgraded to a mini suite. The hotel is well located near the Spanish Steps and in walking distance from the railway station (though get away from there as quickly as possible!). First impressions were its a bit jaded but it definitely grew on me. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful but...

I would say the Hotel is nice, roman deco interiors give a nice feeling. The first room given to us had interconnecting rooms and was like we were sharing room with the people next door; we could hear them talking and coughing, staying in that room would have ruined our romantic roman holiday. They should definitely make the doors sound proof,...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
