Location is not to bad its about few mins, tram or bus to Termini Station, there's some few restaurants, pharmacy and off licence shops around the hotel. Check in was fast and easy. Room is okay but not what I expected. we have some issues with the card keys. Breakfast was included with our booking, but we didn't had breakfast...

Had a slightly longer stay than the last time we stopped. Still a lovely friendly family run hotel, very clean and tidy. Certainly a decent size room with shower-en-suite. Nice continental breakfast, smashing cappuccino and coffee. Easy place to travel around Rome, as plenty of buses and trams in front of the hotel. All go to Termini Railway where we...

For this break traveling with two other couples, so six of us in three rooms we wanted a reasonable priced hotel so chose this one. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly, the check in was efficient and the staff were accommodating. We all found our rooms clean and tidy and reasonable for the rate throughout the three days we stayed....

I have stayed at Latinum for 3 nights. This hotel is about 15 min walk from Termini Station, just around the corner from the main street. The building is cozy, the stuff from the front desk to the housekeeping was very friendly and accomodating, especially the gentleman who works at night (my favourite.) The room was clean and the bed...

Totally fantastic place, the staff really can't do enough for you. Rooms are fantastically clean and roomy. When greeted on arrival, was inundated with information on the best way to get around and see Roma. It's a short walk to the metro. Turn right then right walk to the main junction then then left to get to the metro. 1.50...

Hotel Latinum is a (very) small hotel close to most things you may want to check out whilst in Rome. Walking distance to Termini station, the area of Monti, Manzoni tube station and the Colosseum. Some people have complained about the cleanliness of the rooms, and as we may agree that they could have given the shower an extra scrub,...

I booked this hotel for two reasons: walking distance to Roma Termini station and 4 stars on TripAdvisor. Turns out, both were wrong. Its at least a mile away from the station entrance, and definitively not 4 stars. Room was very small and looks like it has not been vacuumed in a while, with dirty carpet. Bathroom was super small...

And i wasnt even annoyed, or i was at the time but once arriving all was good, the manager/owner was extremely helpful giving us the choice of 2 rooms on arrival, having chosen our room, and settling in we worked out where on the map we were, and being just on the outskirts of rome, about a 30/45minute walk to...

We stayed one night at this hotel on route to heading home after our med cruise. The receptionist was extremely welcoming and friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very close to the metro with access to all the sites, the surrounding area is not very pleasant. However the breakfast was less than appetizing, it included diluted fruit juice,...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
