Can definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. The breakfast was horrible, broken TV, only cold bathingwater, bad cleaning, safe not working and a really inhospital receptionists. More bad things can easily be said about this hotel.

Worst hotel ever. The room was in pieces, nothing worked. Cold water, no lock, no air conditioning. The service was bad, we were treated like animals who were incarcerated. The food was lousy, dry and dull. It is the last time I ever visit this hotel, keep you from it.

The location was good right by the Termini station exit of Marsala but at night there are lots of homeless people sleeping opposite the hotel. Rooms were big and clean enough. Rooms could use a revamp, staff at reception were not very courteous, breakfast was a disaster and not tasty, we simply felt we were in a hostel and not...

We arrived at the Hotel Marisa after finding the hotel we had booked had over booked and left us without accommodation. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was fantastic. A much larger room than usual with high ceiling and a comfortable airy feel to it. Our stay was pleasant and half the price of the accommodation that was...

For a room to sleep and easy to move everywere from Rome center, across the street from Roma Termini (central station, subway, all trains going anywhere) and the service and attention is excellent, the wifi is €3 for the time you are there, but in Rome you don't spend time on your electronic devices other than a camera.

I had booked with 2-star Hotel Luciani, round the corner in Via Milazzo, which seemed OK after viewing their website. When we arrived they sent us to their partner hotel, nominally a 3-star place. I had booked a twin and they gave us a quadruple on the top floor which we did not examine too closely as we got there...

Located across the street from the Termini train station in Rome, the Hotel Marisa is a good choice if traveling by rail. We paid 84 euros for a clean and comfortable room and bath with continental breakfast included.

I have been in a few hotels aroun termini station, this is definitly one of the best I stayed in. Clean room large bathroom, safe box in the room, only pity they do not have minibar in the room. The location is excellent a few meters from the entrance of the station, internet wifi was not included and I paid an...

The rooms are tiny, WiFi (if you pay for it) barely reaches into the rooms and is as sluggish as an antique 14.4kbps modem. Breakfast is coffee, cereal, and disgustingly sweet croissants served from 0730 to 0800 only. There is a 0100 curfew with no exceptions made for any reason. If you are not in the hotel by 0100, you...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
