Only stayed one night as we needed a spot near the train station -- and this is pretty close. The neighbourhood isn't spectacular, but seemed generally safe. Naturally close to trains and metro and not a far walk to major attractions (30 min to Trevi Fountain for example). Desk staff pleasant and multi-lingual. Breakfast was included and very good for...

We spent 4 nights at the Yes hotel and enjoyed our stay there. The beds were comfortable although the room was a bit small for 1 double and 2 twins. The room and bath was very clean and the bath had a shower door - nice when many hotels in Italy do not. We also had plenty of towels. Our...

Marcello was such a lovely and accommodating person during the first 2.5 days of our honeymoon. He really made the first couple days feel special and treated us very nicely. He was always very proactive in asking us what he could help with, and was very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. The rooms were really nice, clean and modern....

I stayed at Yes Hotel after spending one night in a horrible establishment outside of the city. I found the rates very fair and my room was absolutely adorable. Being an American, I am accustomed to larger rooms, but I was not at all disappointed with the space of my room. Everything was well prepared, clean room, clean bath, etc....

We stayed at the Yes Hotel for a few nights at the beginning of June and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is literally 2 blocks- 5 minutes walking from the main station which made it extremely convenient. It is hard to find - make sure you don't walk by the tiny sign! The room wasn't huge- typical size for Italy...

My wife and I simply loved the Yes Hotel. The location, a couple of blocks from the Termini Station couldn't be beat-- convienent for all transportation around Rome--train, subway, bus. There is a great grocery store a few blocks away, decent places to eat close by as well as some cultural sites within walking distance. Our interior courtyard room was...

We booked this hotel for our holiday mainly based on its rating & review on TripAdvisor and other factors We have stayed at many hotels over the years, often luxury ones with impeccable details and fantastic designs. Price-wise, this hotel is good deal, but this is not a luxury place. Yet, good value for money, It is the perceptive and...

If I would go again, I would stay here but ask for a room off the street. We had the corner room just above street level and it was noisy. Our bed was very comfortable and we found this a great place to stay. They provide a good breakfast free breakfast with the room and even had a couple of...

I stayed at the Yes Hotel for six days, traveling with my mother as tourists in Rome. First, the good. The hotel was clean, and in a convenient location only two short blocks from Termini, the main Roman train and Metro station, which made it very easy to get around Rome. While some reviews and guidebooks mentioned this as being...

If you are looking for a hotel in a convenient location, that is clean, provides good service, nice rooms and value for money, then look no further that YES hotel. I had looked for a good hotel for hours on the internet including Trip advisor, but almost all, had some bad reviews. All the YES hotel reviews were good, which...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
