Pros -Colosseum is right out your window -Very convenient for transport I.e. Subway -Lots of authentic restaurants nearby -Spacious room -24h reception (hard to find in this price range!) Cons -Noisiest room I ever slept in. The ground floor (I.e right under your bed) is a very popular and loud bar with a huge terrace. -No curtains. At night this... More

Perfect location as you can reach Colosseum for a one minute walk, so many wonderful Cafes and restaurants nearby. Kind and polite stuff who can speak English which is a benefit in Rome. The rooms are also clean and large, the size of beds are really imperial and king size.

I loved our 3 night stay here in Rome we got upgraded to 309 and I couldn't have been happier! The only downfall of this hotel is that the wifi is weak but many restaurants around have good wifi and if door to room open you are fine! Also if your a glbt traveler it is located on the Gay... More

Well located, clean with comfortable king size bed. The only downfall is the noise that come from the bar/Cafes below which seem to wake up every evening with a vengeance. The racket the patrons make right up to 2-3AM is enough to wake the dead. So if you're not a night owl, I suggest another spot. Also the Wifi in... More

Dear Maria, thank you for sharing your review about us. We recently extended the Wi-Fi line and the signal comes to 103 strongly now. About noise from the street we double glasez all windows and we have some quieter rooms too. Being in the hearth of Rome and in the most exclusive part of the city has its positive and... More

We arrived in Rome for my birthday surprise, and received a very warm welcome from reception. We were escorted to our room which was small but contains everything you need (except an iron!) clean and modern, but definitely Roman. The hotel is on an arcade of shops that get very busy on the weekends. The locals are friendly and there... More

The first night in this hotel was up and down because sadly they're located next to a bar / small club. I was kept up most of the night and went to reception to ask for an upgrade. Which I got. **ONCE I WAS GIVEN THE UPGRADE I SLEPT LIKE A ROCK BEDS ARE INCREDIBLE** I was disappointed in only... More

We stayed as a family of four sharing one room - one double bed and bunk beds for the kids (9 and 12). The B and B is a 30 min taxi ride from Ciampino airport and is within spitting distance from the Colosseum - hence why we booked it. The location is superb. However, as other reviews have mentioned... More

We stayed here from Monday to Thursday. There was no view of the colosseum (unless you hang your head out of the huge window) but there are Roman ruins outside. We later found out these ruins were the houses for gladiators and gladiator school- it used to have a tunnel that went direct to colosseum which is fascinating! We were... More

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
