Very nice small B&B with only 3 rooms Via Garibaldi..very well located with many very good restaurants around. the service is very nice and welcoming. However, it is clearly overpriced even if we are in Roma. 3 points are not at the level of the price they are requesting.. - The bed is very poor..very low standard, - The breakfast... More

Dear Mr. Matthieu2207, thank you for taking time to review Buonanotte Garibaldi. While we are glad you were satisfied with both our location and service, we are sorry you were disappointed with the above 3 points. Our mattresses (2mx2m) were handmade by one of the best and most reliable companies in Tuscany, and they are inspected monthly. Moreover, the mattress... More

This place is really special. Just 3 rooms so it is like living in a small house of yourself. Breakfast is eaten with the few other guests around a round table. Very nice. Rooms are big and comfortable. Lies in a quite part but still just 100 m to walk to the busy streets of Trastevere

It is our third visit to this wonderful hotel and we love it. Private, Cousy, well located and great service. We feel very much at home and certainly we will return in a near future. Highly recommended if you need quietness.

Buona notte Garibaldi has been designed with a lot of taste and sense for refinement and the service is at the same level. The welcome is very friendly, the breakfast is incredible (with freshly baked and homemade pastries) and the courtyard an ideal place to start the perfect day in Rome.

I can't afford one, but I am claiming this as "my villa". It is a villa in Trastevere that now has 3 beautiful rooms. You feel like an honored guest in the home. Ascanio is the son of the owner and is passionate about his clients. He also knows all the best restaurants in the area. David meets and greets... More

We arrived before we were expected, and the owners welcomed us in to have coffee in the beautiful artistically decorated reading room. We loved the location in the middle of Trastevere and within walking distance of the Vatican etc; the friendliness of the owners and staff;and in particular the secluded sunny courtyard. A unique place with just a few rooms... More

What a wonderful find - staying at Buonanotte Garibaldi made our visit to Rome perfect. The Tinto room where we stayed was lovely and the breakfast delicious. Will certainly be coming back, thank you.

This is a charming place with a great location in Trastevere -- near lots of restaurants and within walking distance of all the major sites in Rome. The rooms are nicely decorated with modern bathrooms. There was an amazing breakfast every morning. The staff were both delightful and helpful. Highly recommended!

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in Chocolate. They created two twin beds that were reasonably comfortable and very soft. However it was lovely and quiet. The courtyarded villa was in fact the perfect haven behind a green door from the hustle and bustle of a veyr busy Rome. David was so welcoming and informative and we... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
