We were very much looking forward to our stay at this place after having read a lot of the very positive reviews on this website. We did also note some bad reviews but (in hindsight unfortunately) did not pay too much attention to these.... The trouble started when we arrived - some others already mentioned it, but the reception was... More

I spent one night in the hotel and it was a dream. Beautiful place with clean and comfortable room. Fantastic is breakfast and the manager Lucia. It is available massage center in the same structure. A good idea for a couple of days.

Great stay. The location is excellent, walking distance to Termini station, Colosseum, and many other touristic places, around the corner from Cavour metro station. In spite of its location, my room was very quiet. I found it charming, to live in a very old building, nicely renovated inside. The guest rooms are interspersed with residential apartments, and this gives a... More

What a lovely little hotel that offers a proper Roman experience in an excellent location. Dimora Storica is not the poshest of hotels but what it lacks in wall to wall carpeting it more than makes up for in atmosphere, making you feel as though you live the rather than just being a visitor. We were greeted at reception by... More

Just come back from 4 nights at this lovely hotel, staff were lovely and friendly, couldn't do enough for us, rooms were very spacious and cleaned daily, breakfast was good, if you want a feel of true Rome this is a great place to stay. Looking forward to going back.

I went to this hotel in March 2014 with my boyfriend and I have to say that I absolutely loved it. We were greeted by a very polity and smiley lady (despite the fact that we arrived after 11pm). The rooms overlook the small street which has 2 nice restaurants filled with Italians. On the inside of the building there... More

I arrived at the Dimora Storica Urbana to be greeted by a very polite, helpful young lady on the check in desk, who booked me into my room with a minimum of fuss. I was given the room at the top which was very secure and tidy. There was a choice of 3 beds to sleep in even though I... More

We found it to be a lovely bohemian style Italian hotel. it has an eclectic style and just what we were hoping for - our room was on the top floor with a small balcony overlooking the street. That did mean were a few steps to climb this all added to it for us.. The was also a little lounge... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel last September for a couple of nights and had a fantastic time. The staff really go the extra mile, our flight was delayed and we weren't scheduled to arrive until after midnight but the lady at the hotel desk was so helpful when we rang and stayed until 2am so that we...
