There was a huge lack of communication between management and staff. The hotel is separated into three different locations. The rooms are in two buildings close by and then reception is about a good 5-7 blocks away. They have a "reception" in one of the buildings but the girl doesn't arrive to work until 3pm so if you want to... More

I will never in my life stay at this place ever again! Was a terrible way to end our honeymoon! We arrived and it was as if they did not expect us. Waited long to get keys to the room and eventually they said that the room is not ready after waiting for nearly an hour. They then sent us... More

Breakfast was rather simple, which is quite normal for Italian hotels. Location is very convenient. Owners were friendly and helpful; we could store our luggage for a couple of hours in a secured room. Arriving late in the night was not a problem.

The hotel is localized in a good spot if you're hanging out at the Vatican a lot, a bit far from Rome's main attractions. Room is average, there's no one at the reception at any point in time, there's just a woman who comes and goes, wifi is horribly slow, I would recommend it to someone who doesnt care much... More

I arrived 30th November to find The room temp. was 14 degrees and the windows open. I requested help to bring the temp up. 2 people came, inc. 'an engineer' at 1.am, and said all was well, when in fact the temp never rose above 16 and I had to sleep in my clothes. The following day I asked to... More

We chose this place because it was quite cheap and close to metro station. We arrived here at about 7:00 pm and there was no one inside. It took about half an hour before anyone showed up and let us in - we stood there in the rain waiting for anyone to let us in. And it was just the... More

The hotel is simply 5 minutes walk from Lepanto metro station. It is very close to the Vatican city and has some nice places to eat around. Also, the host Monika made our stay very comfortable and was very helpful in helping us plan our two days in Rome. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Would go back again... More

The Vatican Garden Inn is close to the Vatican, subway and bus station. On a quiet street this hotel has charm. Staff speaks good English and is very eager to help. Excellent value for the price. Within walking distance of shopping, groceries and restaurants. Bathroom was a little cramped but that is to be expected with these old buildings. Breakfast... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
