just finished a brilliant stay at irooms pathenon. easy check in on line with updates throughout the days before.rooms were very clean and slightly eccentric !made up each day with free soft drinks and snack mini bar filled up .the location is amazing as only 10 -15 mins away to all the main visitor sites .gina the host was amazing .she sorted out our little hiccups with the room technology and arranged our transfer back to the airport for us .even though we would be missing the in room breakfast she arranged for a box to be delivered early to reception so we could have a quick bite to eat .overall I would not hesitate to book here again

We had a fantastic time in these tastefully decorated rooms right in the center of Rome. Every time you can choose a room with a different theme and enjoy the impeccable design and first class host. Breakfast was delicious too! All in all, my go to place in Rome!

Nice staff, close to the Pantheon and everything around. Order your breakfast in the evening and get it served on the terrace. We will choose this hotel also the next time in Rome. Each room has a different theme. Use the Internet to choose your theme.

Really the room was badly styled, musty, smelly, old and tacky…. I do not understand the high rating they have. I guess if you’re a student travelling on the cheap it would be okay. But really, if you’re a grown up with some money in your pocket - AVOID AVOID AVOID

The location of the place itself is confusing to find but once you do find it the process for check in was easy. We had to message/call ahead (24 hours) prior to arriving. Our room was ready and at first it was trendy and fun but it slowly lost its luster. We had the circular bed which was clearly coming off the wall, whoever decided to have a bed held by bolts must’ve weighed very little. We hardly wanted to move, my husband is over 200lbs and we thought he would break it. Every time we moved the bed squeaked loudly and shook and the amount of times I hit my legs on that bar in the middle getting up I couldn’t even count. The shower was great a large circular shower, but it took us a bit to figure out how to work it and the top free slow portion That’s meant to have it come down like rain didn’t work. The bathroom itself felt unclean especially around the sink. It was close to all attractions and a taxi stand which is nice. No front desk staff most of the time because it’s not quite a hotel per se. We didn’t mind our stay but we were absolutely ready to leave and move on to the next hotel on our journey. Also there was nothing to sit on except a single yoga ball, weird choice.

The location is great. Walking distance to all the major attractions including the Vatican. It’s a special hotel experience but don’t have to high expectations. The room is worn and quite noisy. Cleaning could be better with hair left in the shower and in the glases in the bathroom upon arrival. Annoyingly dim room with no possibility to light it up if you wish. Nice with free water and sodas everyday. Breakfast was really poor and we told them not to bring us any after the first day. Water pressure is up and down, mostly down, and it can be a bit hard to rinse out the schampoo. Bring your own amenities. The included body wash soap is no good. Also the projector in the IMovie room broke down on us the last day. When it worked it was a very pixly image projected directly on the wall and the picture didn’t quite fit the wall without having the keystone settings distorted which made the whole picture lean backwards like a Star Wars intro text. Friendly and helpful staff but you need to have WhatsApp to communicate with them. Didn’t find the reception until it was checkout time 😃

Maybe there are some nice rooms here, but I definitely got a funky one, right next to reception. I could hear every footstep when someone came in, and every conversation in the halls. The room itself was nothing like in the photos. The disco lighting when I walked in was an story at polishing a turd.

The shower in the bathroom was moldy, growing in the ceiling and head off he faucet.

Holes in the sheets- which also had traces of dirt in them. Unknown stains on the floor, and the coffee machine had some serious funk growing in it.

Bathroom had two soap dispensers like you find in prison cells and public toilets claiming to be “all in one soap.”

I didn’t even stay the night and left without a refund to a different hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, it's walking distance to all the main sites. The staff for the most part were nice and helpful. My issue was with the cleanliness of our room. Our bathroom wasn't clean, particularly the sink. It was covered with mold, the hotel's fix for it was to hide it with a plastic sheet, causing the room to smell and water to splash up onto us. I called the front desk to get the mold taken care of due to the smell it was causing, they said to keep the window open to air out the room, even though the weather was cold and rainy. They never fixed the issue during my 4-day stay. Additionally, the light in the shower was very dim, it was hard to see while showering and there was no way of telling if the shower was clean or not.

Response from iRoomsRome, Responsabile reception at iRooms Pantheon & Navona
Responded Jul 23, 2017
Dear Guest, Thank you for the time you spent in writing your review about your experience with us Our gratitude for the positive things you've said about us- great location and nice staff Now for the negative ones. I remember you stayed in the iCube room and I remember you telling us to fix the problems you pointed out About the sink, we actually ordered a new one before your arrival but there were problems with the delivery so we were not able to fix it during your stay. (at this moment it has already been replaced. But I remember we proposed to you a new room though but you preferred to stay About the shower, the concept is that it is an emotional shower. This is the reason why the lights are dim. Most of the guests who came before you liked it though. But then of course, everyone has his own taste and I cannot blame you if yours is different We sincerely apologize for all the inconveniences you had experienced during your stay with us. Your review will surely help us to improve and will serve as inpunts in our continuous commitment to be better everyday If you can give us a chance and choose us again, we promise it will all be a different experience Best regards, iRooms Staff

We were looking for a good, central location with easy access to the major tourist spots and iRooms Pantheon was ideal with one of the main bus stops also being situated a stones throw from the hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and the accommodation was clean and modern. The minibar was replenished each day and the use of an ipad to control the rooms coloured lighting was quirky and fun. Breakfast which was served downstairs in the cafe next door was simple breads, meats, cheeses but perfect fuel for the mornings sightseeing. We chose an iCube room for our 4 night stay but were delighted to be upgraded to the iSpa room on our last night free of charge when a problem was discovered with our shower screen. I now have fond memories of sipping prosecco in the en-suite jacuzzi after an afternoons walking at the beautiful galleria borghese.

We wanted a hotel close to the attractions in Rome and found this one to be a great location. We were within walking distance to the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Coloseum etc. The staff was very accommodating with arranging a transfer from the airport to the hotel. We did have to wait a few hours to check in.( we arrived at 10am and had to explore until 2pm) they were kind enough to store our luggage for us. There were lots of shops and restaurants around us. The hotel included breakfast which was good. You had to go downstairs and to the restaurant next to it but the food was good, we got coffee, juice, pastries and we were asked if we wanted eggs with cheese. It was a filling breakfast. We ended up staying in 2 different rooms. The Itube which was interesting with the coloured lights in the ceiling and shower. The next room was the Icube which was similar except the bed had a cube shaped canopy with the tv mounted on it. The beds were comfortable and each room had an iPad to control lights etc. You could also get Netflix which was great to watch something in English. There was a private deck you could sit out on which was also very nice after walking around the city. We did hear some noise from the street but overall not bad for being in the city centre. The staff was amazing and very accommodating helping us with tours, transport and wine glasses etc. Overall a good experience.
