5 minutes walk from Termini, 20 minutes walk from Trevi fontane, Spanish steps...30 minutes walk from Coloseum... very quiet neighborhood. Rooms are newly renovated with modern decor and A/C. Bathroom was great, spacious with a large shower and plenty of space for changing and putting your things... Rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast is served in a nearby café and... More

We had an studio apartment on the 5th floor overlooking skyline of Rome, the apartment was suficient for our stay of overnight as we were leaving early next morning to Barga Gallicano . The apartment was not large but comfortable, good bed, clean bathroom shower and toilet.has air conditioning, the lift takes its time to arrive and carries only two people. Breakfast... More

We were in Rome just for the night as we waited for an early train to Naples. While, I would not stay in the Termini area if we were in Rome for an extended trip, but for a convenient location this was perfect. We also were assigned to The Roma House and Via dei Mille - and were nervous to... More

We actually were assigned to one of the 4 locations associated with Palma Residence: The Roma House on Via dei Mille, We didn't know it in advantage, so I was ready to be a bit upset. However, we were pleasantly surprised as the rooms were all modernized. That was a definite plus from what we had been expecting. The one... More

We stayed there for a week and we were surprised to see the room in such a good condition. The AC worked perfectly and saved us from the extremely hot weather, the room was very clean and the staff helpful. The signal for the Wi-Fi was good, giving the fact that our room was at the ground floor, close to... More

Room was clean. Bed was average but still comfortable enough to sleep. AC was working fine. Bathroom was good. But more than 50€ for 10m² a night, it's crazy!!! Location is good, very quiet area, not far from Termini and you can visit Rome on foot by staying in this hotel. Staff was very helpful. I had actually booked wrong... More

Leaving the Termini station I walked pushing some bags several blocks. It was difficult to find the hotel reception. It is hidden at the bottom of a block containing other hotels. We stayed at the annex of the hotel which is in Viale Castro Pretorio. This annex is composed of a set of 2 blocks of a big house. The... More

Its near the main central station hence its easy to access. Though its near the most busy area yet its quit place. The booking was done via booking.com and on arrival the room was in a different building. This is a very common practice in Rome, specially the bed and breakfast hotels. You generally don't get what you see online.... More

This is a great place. THe building seems old, but the rooms are all new, remodeled recently i believe. Very close to the metro station, in a great location. Prices are great! The reception is in another building which is not that great, but ok. Wifi stoped working for 2 days, also that wasnt great, but oh well... Its really... More

-No acoustic opacity inside. Unfortunately, there was no kettle in the kitchen. Conditionaly poor breakfast (doughnut, juice and coffee) in a bar nearby. +Room wasn't large, but daily cleaned and cosy. Very good location near Termini station. In about 200 meters from residence we found a supermarket Conad City (Piazza dell'Indipendenza).

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
