Was there just for one night. No elevator so... up to you to carry the luggage! No help even proposed by the receptionist (male and well fit). Poor breakfast even if waiters was very gentle. Room had old forniture, windows was not well closing, very noisy, impossible to sleep because on the front. Bathroom still had hairs of the previous...

We stayed at hotel as part of pilgrimage group. The location is just 2 min walk to Vatican city and San Peter square, and also by bus 64 from train station from Roma Termini *approx 30min. The breakfast was simple but tasty. It was a bit chilly in the room, and not very airy, but ok to open windows, and...

This is a great place ref location and the staff are friendly. Nice decor in the public areas, but rooms and bathrooms are getting very tired. Just 7 mins from St Peter's so very convenient, but not a place for a couple to have a romantic time! Still fab for a school trip.

This hotel was selected by our travel guide as part of our package. I would not send my worst enemy here! Talk about a dream vacation interrupted... We are a party of six and stayed for three nights. I should say there nightmares. I switched rooms because the original room reeked of stale cigarettes. Another one of our party switched...

We were a group of Pilgrims on a journey to see Rome and all of her fantastic sites. This hotel offered a easy walk to the Vatican and easy access to the Bus system. The rooms were nice and they were clean! They had a safe in the room and a hot shower every morning. For those who have complained...

We arrived as a group for a 7 night stay at this hotel. After spending one full week here I would say the best feature is it's location. A 5 minute walk to St. Peter's Square and the Vatican was a great bonus. The surrounding area offered many useful amenities - wonderful restaurant in front of the hotel, convenient full...

As standby flyers we never really know where we are going until the last minute. We had less than 30 minutes to find a room in a place we had never been to before losing internet access. We booked this room and hoped for the best. Our most important criteria is clean and safe accommodations, the rest is fluff! Although...

This hotel not only has a confident location 5 minutes from the Vatican, but excellent, cozy rooms with great climate control, lots of natural light, free wifi, and a friendly staff. It is a great deal for the price. We stayed at several other hotels over the years in Rome, and this one is absolutely the best VDRAKE for the...

Very conveniently located near vatican. Very comfortable. Only problem, no lift. If you stay on the 2nd floor you need to be prepared to walk up with heavy load. They had someone to carry the luggage up. But had to carry it down ourselves when checking-out. But stay is value for money.

This hotel is walking distance from the Vatican. The room is basic but it was clean and we had a working a/c and a private bathroom. The room rate included breakfast which was a great bonus. The breakfast consisted of juice, coffee, croissants, cold cuts and cheeses. They also had corn flakes and bread rolls. It was good because we...

“As the hotel is located on the street behind the Vatican, it is generally quiet as the evening passes, hence noise is not going to be a factor at all. However, subject to availability, one could request for a room in the front, which allows one to catch a glimpse of St Peters' Basilica illuminated at night.”
