Ci sono ritornato diverse volte e non ci ha mai deluso. PRO: - location fantastica, in mezzo alla movida romana (beautiful view) - good quality/price - restructured with ancient goods and modern pieces - well cleaned - in the middle of the history (fontana di trevi, colosseum, quirinale, monti suburb...) - subway - many lovely places where to eat and...

Very warm welcome from the owner that gave us the key for the room and make sure everything was ok. I had a bit of problem figuring out how to open the front door when I arrived as I didn't have the password. The break fast was lovely (Yogurt, croissant, cappuccino...) and was served on the time we arranged. The...

This happened in May 2014, but I wanted to warn people about our experience as it was our only bad experience in our month-long trip in Italy. As we were in Rome again just a few days ago, I thought I'd share this experience. Chose this B&B because of the location and value (and good Tripadvisor reviews). It was a...

This little gem of a B&B is well-located in the hip suburb of Monti. The hostess, Tania is lovely and was there at the designated time to meet me and settle in. A lovely croissant, yoghurt, juice a (real) coffee is included in the price of the room. The rooms are spotless, with daily attendance by Tania. The rooms also...

Nice small hotel in the heart of Rome. 5 min to Colloseo, 10 min to every other sight. Small room with good view from windew, not bad breakfast delivered to room every morning. Small lift (enough for 2 persons or 1 with suitcase). The owner give you keys from entrance, lift and hotel. Feeling like you live in rome:)

Excellent location. 600 m to the Coliseum. 150 m to the metro station Cavour. The hostel is located in a beautiful square with cafes and restaurants. The hostel is intimate, on the 3rd floor, but there is an elevator. At night the square is bustling and summer, when the windows are open can be a problem with noise. Very friendly...

We stayed here for 4 nights a few weeks ago and loved it! The owner is super nice and showed up every morning with breakfast. The location is perfect, right in the heart of rome and close walking distance to all attractions. The neighborhood was always fairly busy and we always felt safe. I highly recommend this place to anyone....

This little B&B was brilliant find in Rome! 10 minute walk from the Termini and the Colosseum is just down the street. Central location for exploring Rome. We stayed on a one bed apartment which was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was continental style wiht yogurts, milk etc in the fridge in the room. The lovely lady who runs the...

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
