So glad we chose to stay at the Portrait Roma. From the moment we arrived until the morning of our departure we were treated like royalty. In addition to the exceptional service provided by the staff were were also very happy with the comfort of the room, location of the hotel and food & beverage offered. The rooftop with its amazing view was a great place to start the day (breakfast) or end the day (cocktails). Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Rome.

This boutique hotel was AMAZING! It is in a perfect location (right near Spanish Steps), the rooms are luxurious (ample size too) and beautifully appointed. The physical building is the size of a large townhouse with (maybe) 14 rooms, so it is small. The amenities, like their Ferragamo body care products, are truly exceptional as is the bedding, the linens and the culinary treats they offer in the rooms. Everything is personalized to your needs. One of the highlights was the roof top deck which is just spectacular -- small and intimate but comfortable enough to accommodate all the hotel guests without feeling over crowded. The views from the roof deck are simply stunning with a clear and close up view of the Spanish Steps. Breakfast is served there and is quite lavish...very plentiful and very high quality (hot & cold) food. The deck is open all day to lounge and also have a drink. As beautiful and luxurious as the hotel is, it is the staff that truly make the Portrait a STAND OUT and so special. From the moment we checked in, Weronika made us feel completely at home and was incredibly attentive in making sure we had the best possible stay from restaurant to touring recc's. It's all about the personalized details at Portrait and like Weronika, the entire staff is clearly invested to ensure that your experience is absolute perfection. Highly recommend this hotel!

Amazing!!! Staff is so welcoming and genuinely friendly, they don't let you lift a finger! Our room was ready early, which was greatly appreciated; it was so nice to be able to get off the plane after a day and a half of traveling to shower! The room was larger than expected and had everything we needed including a dyson hair-dryer which I now plan to purchase! Breakfast that is included is delicious, eggs, fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses, fresh juices. The rooftop is great for morning and nighttime! The location of the hotel is also excellent, safe, right by all of the shops and landmarks, we walked everywhere, Spanish Steps, Trevi, etc.. The staff is beyond amazing and no detail is left undone. It was our anniversary and the hotel staff delivered a bottle of champagne and a dessert! We were also at the hotel on Valentine's day, they brought heart-shaped cookies to our room and had decorated the rooftop area! Would love to stay here again, perfect location, perfect hotel!

This small hotel may be easily overlooked but is truly outstanding. The location is perfect and you have the most amazing view (and breakfast) from the rooftop terrace (which is exclusively for hotel guests). The SERVICE is what makes this hotel very SPECIAL and EXCELLENT. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate every need and they give you a feeling of being home. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Thank you for an amazing stay and for all your help. Best regards, Julie & Ben

Just spent 4 nights here at the end of a 3 week visit to Italy. The concierge team were incredibly helpful in the lead up to our stay, helping with numerous requests, including a private tour booking for myself and a spa booking for my wife. The recommendations were a little below par (for the money) so I would suggest they look for alternate partners, as neither reflected the quality of the hotel, nor the customer service of the Portait Team. We had a small mix up twice in our first 24 hours re my name (as a result of our Portait Firenze stay a week earlier) but it was dealt with appropriately and to our satisfaction. We stayed in the Condotti Suite and it was very well appointed and luxurious and the two wardrobes were a big help in accommodating our many recently acquired shopping bags and subsequent suitcase purchases to allow us to get all our luggage back home to Australia. Room is serviced twice per day and lots of little complimentary treats left for us. Easy plug in for Apple TV/HDMI beside TV's in both bedroom and living room. WiFi quality good but very annoying that it did not stay connected the whole time you were on the premises, if you were not using your device for a number of minutes. As an international traveler, you are regularly mindful of your data roaming package (which is more useful when on the streets using Google Maps etc for navigation) so I feel for the money spent per night, we should have been always connected to WiFi automatically whenever on premises. Maybe this is one for your IT Team to investigate? The rooftop bar was fantastic with views to the Spanish Steps and many other important monuments plus plus the bustling streets below. A beautiful way to start the day for breakfast and again in the evening for pre or post dinner drinks or snacks. Mind the monster seagulls though! Location wise, you are situated directly between an Hermes and Salvatore Ferragamo boutique, and with a plethora of every other high end fashion brand you could imagine within metres of the front door, you'll be in heaven if shopping is your thing. Great choice of restaurants too. A very imitate hotel, only 14 rooms so very personalised and just the way my wife and I like it. Thank you to all the team who made our stay so special. Grazie mille! I have stayed at Portrait Roma now 4 times. It is always a wonderful experience. The staff is great, the room is comfortable, and the location cannot be beat. Breakfast is very good. What more would you want? The hotel is very quiet and private and you feel like you are coming home instead of to a busy convention hotel. I will return again.

Fantastic, curated luxury experience from start to finish. Our only regret is we were only in Rome for one night. Understand entrance in one of the most desirable, high end locations in Rome above the Ferragamo flagship store. We’ve stayed in Rome and come here to shop many times, but so nice to stay here. The staff are truly world class and go above and beyond - Simone and Ricardo were terrific and not only accommodated us with an early check-in and beautiful upgrade but ensured every aspect of our stay was perfect - including dining reservations at some of the actual best restaurants frequented by locals, not just the ones that Google says are the best. It felt like we were staying with close friends rather than a hotel. Rooms were immaculate and luxurious - the penthouse even has a gym and steam room in additional room a beautiful wrap around balcony with the best view of the Spanish steps. Highly recommend this hotel for excellent service, perfect location, immaculate and well designed rooms and insane views of Rome. Must stay!

We could not have had a better experience at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The amenities were top end and the location in Rome cannot be beat. The entrance is discreet and the bar/restaurant are for guests only, making this hotel the perfect choice for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful city. They also do an extensive pre-arrival form so you can note all your preferences. We want to extend a special thank you to Simone and Ricardo, who were so kind and helpful. We will definitely return to Portrait Roma!
