Due to Covid almost no tourists were in Rome and of cours many of the hotels were closed or had a very limited offer of services - not the famous Villa Spalletti Trivelli. We loved to stay in a museum from the 18th - 19th century, enjoying the service of very polite staff. Allthough the first day we were the only visitors we were perfectly served by the staff and enjoyed perfect dinners at the hotel. Upon arrival the hotel manager explained the rules during Covid restricition, we received mascs and our temperature was checked upon arrival from Vienna. When we are going again to Rome we are sure to stay at this perfect Villa again

Hotel's Favorite
My only hesitation is writing a review of this exquisite small hotel is that I want a room to be available for me when I return. The hotel is just stunning. The architecture, original fine artwork, service from the moment you ring the bell, and delicious breakfast make it at least a once in a lifetime treat. No kidding. This is extraordinary.

The hotel is a short walk (uphill) from the Via del Corso. The staff is lovely and makes you feel at home. The hotel feels like a big house with comfortable seating rooms to enjoy. The rooms are spacious and have character. A great stay!

I thought twice about writing this review as there are already so many positive comments but the hotel looked after us so well in a time that is so difficult to accommodate tourists safely without causing a detrimental effect on their holiday, I thought I should take the time to leave some feedback. This was our first stay in a city hotel since restrictions were lifted and we were apprehensive about the experience but Villa Spalletti have done everything they can to make sure guests have a relaxing and luxurious stay- it really is an oasis just a short walk from the Colosseum. The rooms are huge, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, I don’t recall ever staying in a hotel where the room service staff paid such close attention to small details. We loved having an evening drink in the beautiful drawing room and sitting in the rooftop jacuzzi after a day of exploring. Breakfast was simple but delicious and the staff were always on hand to help with recommendations for eating out etc. The only drawback was the Turkish bath being closed, for obvious reasons, but that just gives us an excuse to come back again next time we visit! Thanks guys, we had a great stay and can’t wait to return.

We stayed here for 2 nights during New Year and it was such a delightful experience overall. First of all, the location is great, we could walk to all major Rome attractions. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The place is elegantly decorated, yet still feels cozy. The room is spacious and I particularly liked the complimentary mini bar. One thing I would have hoped for a 5 star hotel was an Espresso machine in the room. That wasn't a deal breaker for me since they provide awesome coffee on-demand at breakfast. The whole experience feels more like a B&B, but with 5-star hotel amenities. I would highly recommend staying here. That being said, I don't feel the staff/concierge were particularly knowledgeable about all the tour offerings that are not privately arranged. We were told that we couldn't visit the Vatican Museum unless via private tour because it was sold out. However, when we got to our next hotel, they were able to help us arrange a self-guided tour with a fraction of the cost proposed by Villa Spalletti. So if you're not into private tours and want to save some money, do your research ahead of time and book your tickets online if you can.
