We stayed in the VIP Junior suite for 10 days, and so got to know the hotel and the area quite well. The patio of the suite is well worth the extra money, though you might not think so in poorer weather. The quality of the facilities was excellent, and the staff were exceptional in their attention to detail and...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Diocleziano for 5 nights based on TripAdvisor reviews and we couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel was in a great location, tucked on a quiet side street, steps from the terminal and walking distance to all of the places we wanted to visit. The room was modern, clean, and a perfect size...

My wife and I stayed here for one night while seeing Rome. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the Termini Train/Bus station which is really nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel rooms in Rome are small, and I thought our room was good sized when comparing to others we've stayed in. The best part...

The Hotel Diocleziano was a perfect location for our 24 hour stay in Rome. We took the Leonardo Express from FCO airport straight to the Termini Station. If you walk out front of the station, you are just 4-5 minutes walk to the hotel...much cheaper than taking a taxi or private car to the hotel. In the short time we...

We had a superior room, and the room was large, very clean and had a modern and neat atmosphere. Nice and firm bed. The staff was exceptional. Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
